If a woman in poverty wants to access birth control to protect herself from unwanted pregnancy, she’s a dirty slut and doesn’t deserve it. If she gets pregnant because of a lack of access to effective birth control and seeks abortion services, she’s a baby killer just doing it out of convenience. If she carries the baby to term and keeps it, she’s a welfare queen. This has nothing to do with funding, or even religion and morality. It’s not even entirely about being anti-woman. It’s all about punishing women for being poor.“
