Working at MuDA this weekend
We are back!
After few months of testing our prototype with the public at different festivals, we’re back to work!
Sunday evening. Still working.
Testing navigation. No touch input in the game! Everything is controlled by an accelerometer.
Adjusting sensors (¬‿¬)
The new version of MIKMA will be soon shown at Flux Laboratory in Carouge. Getting ready for the opening on October 4th.
Testing the beginning of the game - camera on->capture a seen->calibration->level go
The new office of Playables is a perfect place for the Saturday working session.
Last version of the gameplay. After focusing on the image, the player navigates through the image where the secret points are hidden. Once he finds the secret point, he recharges the energy (focus and depth), he loses the energy by going to the dark places. The goal is to go through the whole image and find the depth points.
The second version of a luminosity measurement interface. Bigger the point is, darker the place is and the opposite.
Work in progress :)
Level design. Preview of 10-4 scale
Testing a sensor visualisation. Measurement of the luminosity under each point of the interface.
Prototyping the game mechanics. All the interactions are made by tilting the mobile device.
- The first step is to find a focus point by following the sound signal
- Second (for the moment) is to collect the right brightness from the picture
- Once the goal is reached, the player is zoomed to the next level, where you should for the first step find the right focus and then to use different sensors in a right way.
