My artfight attack of @froflossy's Strawberry Miku and Strawberry Teto! I specifically used the song Strawberry (by Jamie Paige) for this one since, if you've seen my TGS pieces, it's clear I love drawing comics with Jamie's lyrics incorporated into them. I haven't done a full piece of this level since my TGS pieces from last year, so I'm really really proud of it, and it was sooo fun to make. I especially like the second panel with Teto's face personally, I think I just did really well there :>

Literally same. I love Miku more abstractly as a cultural symbol of having fun with art, centering joy and sincerity on the internet. She's somewhat of an emergent deity to me in the sense that Miku just happens to appear in most communities and fandoms I enjoy and feel comfortable in. The rich legacy of Miku media that shaped me growing up is another factor for sure. I keep seeing people represent themselves and their identity through the medium of Miku and that has always felt really special to me. The lack of lore and her infinitely adaptable design invite creativity and projection. Sometimes I like to think that Miku has received so much love over the decades that we have granted her humanity. I could go on forever but I'll leave it at that (: In short I just love Miku and she's been part of my happiness since childhood. Drawing Miku makes me happy <3
