Ok, I need to voice this about the ending of season 2.

You can think it‘s silly, you can think it‘s dumb BUT IT FITS THEMATICALLY!

Lilith was said to have rallied and united hell with a LITERAL song, so Charlie (yes Emily started it, but Charlie is the head of all of this) uniting hell with a song and beating Vox, the person who PRETENDED to continue Liliths legacy (also with a song that was superficially about the people of hell but actually just about his ego. He sang and the people simply repeated what he sang. Which is in stark contrast to „hear my hope” where EVERYONE sings about “I‘m not doing this for me, but in hopes that someone survives this and will someday be lifted up by this“. One is showing off and playing into Vox' ego and the other is about an actual cause and connection) is a genuinely good and fitting climax to all of this.

Is it still silly and cheesy? Yeah, it‘s a musical! That‘s part of the fun!
