Grace was perfectly content watching Miles rummage through her cabinets. She liked seeing him taking care of her. Plus, she wasn’t the best cook around, surviving off the necessities. She felt him plant another kiss against her lips and she gave him a soft smile. “That’s good. Maybe I’ll come by when I have some time and be your personal cheerleader,” She joked. “I feel like all I have been doing is studying and resting. I hate being sick,”

Grace could be his cheerleader anytime she wanted. Hell. She was probably the only girl who understood the game of basketball and would appreciate coming to the games a lot more than the rest of the girls he usually hung out with. “You sound a little grumpy too but that’s just cuz you’re sick. Don’t worry though babe, I make the best chicken soup.”

PM I wouldn’t call it fighting per say. I’m sort of mad at Jackie but I’m just disappointed in myself when it comes to her. I mean… maybe… I don’t know. It’s just a weird time now. I have books and pamphlets you can borrow.

Well, it’s kind of like that. But I think they exaggerate the vibe. It’s not at all that bad. Hosed down at 2 AM? Now that’s crazy. I think the worst day, besides the first two days and last two days (both of which we were up pretty much all 48 hours), the worst day way from 0500-2200. As easy as it was for me, I hated bootcamp. The instructors were so full of themselves.

So you guys don’t get thrown in the beach and have the waves crash into you for hours? Now I’m just disappointed in the movies, that sucks. Yo, that whole military time with 0500 hours I don’t get at all. I’ve always wanted to know but it’s confusing. Well, you’ve gotten past bootcamp. The rest has gotta be easy, right?

Yes, exactly. Dude thanks. I really appreciate that. I’m sure you could do it. Usually once you get passed bootcamp you feel confident enough to do most things. I am though. I am truly trying to live up to the college experience.

Bootcamp will kick my ass. I’m good at sports and all but if bootcamp is what I see in the movies, hell nah. Getting hosed down at like 2 in the morning? I’d catch ammonia or some crap. Have you gone to any college parties yet?

Grace opened the door, kissing Miles softly before allowing him in. She led him to the kitchen so he could put the groceries up. “I feel a little bit better but I could be better,” She moved to sit on the counter with her legs crossed. “How’s the job going?”

Miles started preparing the food for the chicken soup, a small smile playing on his lips when he rummaged through Grace’s kitchen looking for pots and utensils. “That’s why I’m here. To make you feel better.” he smirked, leaning towards her to place another kiss on her lips. “It’s going great. I love it. Some kids don’t wanna listen but you know how that goes.”

You’d think that the days of the week are the craziest, wouldn’t you? Believe it or not, numbers actually take that place. The relationships that numbers share, to be exact. And I don’t mean like the relationship between 9 and 3 and whatnot–I mean the romantic and platonic relationships between them. It all started with 7 eating 9 and it just sort of spiraled from there.

So you’re saying that numbers go on dates? I mean 9 woulda had to been wooed at some point to be eaten out by 7, right? That’s just crazy. I tend to stay away from numbers. Math isn’t my strong suit and after asking a lady at the store the other day her age, she gave me a death glare that coulda ended my life.
