Thoughts on my RGU/TGAA crossover piece.

I got so enamoured with the idea of casting Barok as Mikage in a RGU screencap redraw. First of all, because his outfit works amazingly well as a duelist's outfit but also because he is a character who, after the death of a loved one, became stuck in the past.

They have very different personalities but I think their motives are similar. When Barok comes out of retirement to meet Ryunosuke in court, he is chasing the ghost of Genshin.

Similarly, I thought Kazuma worked well as a Mamiya stand-in. He's not who Barok thinks he is, and is in fact on the side of his opponent. Barok is betrayed by him but it ends up being for his own good. Like Mamiya's betrayal, Kazuma's allows Barok to move on with his life. Of course, if I were to do something Similar with Ryunosuke, I'd cast Susato as Anthy just for the sake of aesthetics lol
