HAIR. laeia’s hair is magical in it’s own way; it’s not quite thick, and shares the texture of the finest silks. it’s general hue is a snowy white, yet upon close inspection, it’s made of very light greys, and a few muted lavender-pinks here and there, along with off white to make a more … “realistic” shade. the roots, however, remain black-brown. their hair grows rather fast, leading them to seek a trim every two months. it requires minimal styling, and there’s never a stray on their head as their mother had blessed them with tangle and mess free hair from birth, to which laeia still finds rather strange that it would be this particular blessing handed down to them. laeia’s head is the only spot, in their human form, to possess snowy locks – the rest of the hair on their body is a deep black-brown. their bangs are cut straight across, right above their eyes, with a slight parting down the middle, with the two front pieces coming down just past their breasts, and the rest hanging above their rear. in their true form, the front pieces extend to the top of their hip, and the rest is shy of the middle of their calves, seemingly fading into a translucent appearance, and losing it’s calm swaying motion. instead, it moves, even without wind, strands taken from the rest and blowing gently in the unreal breeze.
they have minimal body hair, as it grows very finely on their arms, and just a bit on their legs, but they have no intention of shaving it. they tried once, and it wasn’t quite enjoyable.
EYES. they take after their mother with hooded, monolid eyes, and an unusual set of lush top lashes framing their eyes. the outer corners are slightly upturned, yet there is something utterly relaxed and tired in their gaze that it almost gives … an emotional illusion of drooping eyes. their irises are alike to a shimmering liquid, with minuscule golden flecks floating about oxblood red irises. the hue is utterly saturated, and in brighter lights, the color looks more pink, and the gold shines through much more prominently. beneath their bangs are dark black-brown eyebrows, which frame their slightly rounded heart-shaped face. instead of a pink, flesh-colored waterline, theirs is naturally black, as if a kohl pencil had been swept carefully along it, and forming a feline tip at the inner corners of the eyes. laeia does enjoy wearing eyeliner as to complete the appearance, as theyre rather concerned the bottom heavy markings might pull away from the balance of their features.
in their true form, their pupils are alike to a felines, forming slits usually, but blown wide open if alert or startled. however, in this form, the bottom lid close to the outer corner is slightly reddened, but this is only a marking, not a cause of irritation or whatnot.
