To not alarm anyone or get them up in arms, although this may very well happen: Yuuichi Nakamura has tweeted about ep.25, and has stated that the cast were confused and didn’t expect the type of unpredictable ending it had.

His tweet can be also paraphrased as : “Maybe next week’s the last round, I don’t know. Which is why I wonder why anyone would want to end it like that. I can’t wait"

We might have to expect a mindscrew or open-ended conclusion, unless he intends to allude at something else with his tweet. Hang in there and let’s see.
