4. Dragon Age the Veilguard - 2nd playthrough - AU (unmodded)
Qadira Ingellvar, Rook, (Saviour of ALL of Thedas!)
Qadira was orphaned at birth and left abandoned for a while in a crypt until she was found and raised by a kind, lonely and powerful female mourn watcher names Damira Ingellvar, who gave Qadira her surname. Years went by and Qadira grew to love their adoptive mother who taught them all they needed to know about necromancy and magic. She was also trained to defend herself and was an excellent warrior by the time she was 20.
One fateful day, Damira was savagely attacked by a rogue evil spirit during the civil war (War of the Banners) which made Qadira go on a rampage against the undead nobility which was already controversial. Immediately afterwards, Qadira left the order and travelled around Thedas as a sword for hire leading to her meeting Varric. She felt very alone during this 10 to 15 year period which is why she bonded closely with Varric through their adventures.
Qadira is a head-strong, ambitious and determined individual who loves to get straight to the point. This makes her an excellent warrior and leader of the team, she is fair and diplomatic but isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and lead by example. As she grows attached to the team, she becomes protective of them and pushes herself harder with each battle the team faces. She deeply despises Solas for a number of reasons but most of all his willingness to throw his own friends/followers under the bus over and over again. She was frustrated with the Inquisitor's stance initially and was determined to destroy Solas especially for what he had done to Varric. Qadira saw Varric as almost family after the earlier events of her life and was left devastated by his passing. Qadira is very straight forward when it comes to what she wants, which is how she eventually enters a romantic relationship with Emmrich.
Qadira was quite cold and distant at the very beginning of the Veilguard team's construction. She felt very alien interacting with Emmrich and other mourn watchers again her history with the order and the Necropolis. Qadira was also used to being alone for a while so she started off socially awkward and withdrawn when it came to interacting with Emmrich and the others. After her first trip to the Necropolis Qadira became more open to Emmrich especially after he revealed he is also an orphan. They began to form a close friendship from here. Qadira was also fascinated by Manfred which reignited her passion for necromancy and to reunite with the order.
After many late night necromancy sessions, Qadira became increasingly infatuated with Emmrich who she feels is very similar to her in terms of background, passions and ideals. She loved his gently approach to things whilst he appreciates her go getter, firm but fair approach. Qadira falls first and chases him as Emmrich is initially shocked by her pursuit not because of age but because she is Rook the leader of the Veilguard and that he feels he is a distraction. Emmrich understood her complicated feelings with necromancy and the Necropolis which was why their dates were there to override those terrible events with new, happy and romantic memories. They soon fall deeply in love after the graveyard date.

Qadira returns to the Necropolis with Emmrich and Manfred in tow. They both advance in their careers and Qadira even lectures alongside Emmrich. Manfred becomes much more advanced in his speech and they live as a happy little family surrounded by undead. Emmrich even constructs graves for Qadira's parents and adopted mother. Qadira is called to various parts of Thedas to help with rebuilding efforts but always for short periods of time and returns back to Nervarra.
Emmrich, Qadira and Manfred permanently settle in Nevarra City and become renowned for their research and studies into necromancy and Manfred's state of being.
