I know it's hard, I know it starts off the way it does but you need to watch it. At least if you watch season 2. It explains what happens in the first episode 2 and why certain characters aren't there. If you don't care about spoilers I might rewatch season 1 and explain it like the mcd lore video if people ask me to. But you should watch it, I'm begging you. Please. It makes sense in the end and you can get more good travis. Please please please please.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!
The Finale of ALTERNATES Season 1 was a masterpiece and nothing more. The story? Masterpiece. Voice Acting? Master-Masterpiece. This episode was the first time I've cried to an Aphmau Related Thing since WAF. Katelyn's death hit me like a truck since she's always been one of my favorites. This episode was just tragic in the best way possible.
This episode was the first episode where I was actually on edge and so confused into what was going on this episode was the shortest of season one, but it felt like the longest to me and that's a good thing. This whole episode had me guessing and confused and its gold for that. Also, the flashback scene? Beautiful I would have cried if I wasn't so used to seeing Aaron being blown up.
This one had some good moments however none of them were as great as the final two episodes. In-ZANE was by far the best part of this episode by far and the twist at the end had me screaming. The only reason this one isn't at the top is because episodes 4 and 5 are much better even though episode 3 was a masterpiece.
This one did get off to a slow start but once it got it got going the acting was amazing and I loved all the dream scenes as well as the gas station scene. Not to mention the new outfits being peak and the alternate aphmau at the end actually terrifying me? This episode is such a great start to a new season. Also, Dana we love some MCD couples returning.
The first of this wasn't really my thing that have been due to the fact that Kim was being a bit annoying now listen I love my chaotic queen SMP Kim, but I understand why she was killed off her personality doesn't really go well for a serious horror series. That being said when my OTP Travyln showed up, I was getting into it. This episode is what got me obsessed with this series in the first place that and Travyln being here.
Episode 1 was so boring to me I didn't even finish it while rewatching the series a few weeks back. Listen I do like the majority of SMP content but this I just wasn't feeling which is strange because I loved it when it first came out but compared to other episodes it feels lackluster and not really that good.

I was not expecting Mermaid Tales of all series to drop new episodes first but I'm so happy idc, I'm glad to see this story expand.
I like to draw season 1 Aphmau more pale since she's been under water for so long and hasn't seen the surface or sunlight. As she stays longer on the surface her skin tans, and her hair and tail become lighter due to the sun (like her seashell bra getting sun bleached)
Also. I did not care for the MID boys in this episode, they were funny, and I was happy to see them again but like I wasn't hyped or anything 😅 they just felt like a cameo.
