Had some time to think about the MyTeen disbandment.
tl;dr: Music Works is a disaster. May ot7 be happy.
I’ve ranted about MW before, but y’all... The sheer audacity of delaying the official disbandment announcement, and have Eunsu post about it in the meantime? That just shows the minimal respect they had for the fans, and it’s heartbreaking to have Eunsu be the first one to tell us. That angel has been with the company for the longest amongst ot7, he was the leader but gave up his position because he felt he was lacking, AND this was second debut. He’s been through so much already, like, ffs MW.
The same thing happened with the leader switch announcement: we didn’t learn it through MW, it was vaguely mentionned on a show before, and only after rumors and questions arose did MW actually speak up. And it was via the members on fancafe, if I remember well?
Honestly, early on there were already some foreshadowing to MW being terrible at their job. Recycling 어마어마하게 and making it “Amazing”, the debut title, has always seemed like a weird move imo. Yes, the song is great, and it’s actually one of the main reasons I decided to stan, but we’d been listening to it for months already. At the time, I wasn’t sure what to make of it, but at this point I think it’s fair to call laziness and a lack of comitment to the group.
As some have pointed out on twt, if the issue was financial, MW could have easily made a Makestar, and it would have reached 100% for sure - probably more, with the attention from pdx101. It just goes to show that they’ve simply given up on the group.
I’m glad Taevin got tf out of there before this mess went down. Minjun is still young; I hope he doesn’t feel too dissappinted and that he’ll fall back on his feet. I hope Junseop finds a path in acting/rapping, if that’s what he still wishes to do. I hope Eunsu is okay and that he’ll eventually find happiness in whatever his pursues - he’s a sweetheart, and he deserves the world.
I’m sure success awaits Kookvin (and pls, MW, don’t fuck this up too).
Despite everything, I’m not done with this blog. I’ve spent a lot of time here, and I’d have a hard time simpy letting go. I’ll probably reblog and posts every once in a while. I don’t think I’ll actively stan Kookvin, but I’ll still follow their progress from afar. I’ll also be on the lookout for how the rest of the kids are doing - maybe try to write update posts every now and then.
In conclusion: Thank you for the past two and a half years. We’ve been through a lot. Loads of wishes of resilience, health and joy to MyTeen and to You’’th ♥

In conclusion... I just hope they remaining members are okay. Sangjin hasn’t been active much since mix9. He’s always been kinda reserved? But I hope he finds happiness whatever he pursues. Eunsu must’ve been really affected by the whole mix9 thing, eventually letting go of his leadership and everything.. MyTeen was his second debut too. Hopefully MW will repay the long years he’s spent by them and give him a chance to act or perform still, if that’s what he wishes. He’ll always be one of the sweetest leaders I’ve ever stanned. Junseop did have solo activities before MyTeen. Ah, he’s always seemed passionate about becoming a better artist. With a bit of luck, things could take off. Minjun is still young; he could always pursue this type of career again, or just focus on other stuff. Taevin seems happy where he is. I’m glad. As for the Kookvin unit, I’m sure it’ll be succesful. They have the chemistry, the talent and the dedication.
It’s been a long journey, y’all. I can’t say that I’m devastated; this had been coming for a while. Whatever happens, I hope ot7 finds fulfillment and joy. To Youth: dm me if you ever want to chat, and take care ♡
