drink deep || mini & silas
Another weekend meant another chance for him to either be out in a boat for the entirety of the weekend or find somewhere else to be now that his sister was back home. Now that there were two of them on the home front, each one with their own opinions on his life and the fact that he was going no where with it. Apparently two part time jobs wasn’t enough to keep someone from looking like they’re wasting their lives, so Silas jumped at the chance to get out of town for a night and party it up.
A mutual friend offered to drive him to the beach house, a place just down the coast and barely on the outskirts of Bayside, full of people that he didn’t know and didn’t know him. It was exactly what he needed and wanted as he drank down his first beer within minutes and followed it up with a second shortly after that. He grinned as he started to dance, finding himself surrounded by a few people that were in the same boat as him, glassy eyed and ready to lose the rest of his mind in another red cup of beer.
“Jesus,” he swore when he bumped into someone, knocking some of the beer from his cup onto his shirt as the room continued to dance on without him. It didn’t do much to change his mood, only lifting the less his cup weighed in his hand before he replaced it with another one, as he turned to see who’d been the one that he’d knocked into.
Unlike most people, weekends were not something Mini often got to enjoy and when she did it was only briefly. The enjoyment tended to come in the form of parties but a busy schedule made sure she only arrived towards the end. All week she’d been saying no to the invites, the senior girls raving about how great it was bound to be, some colleges boys who had too much money and an empty vacation house. It wasn’t that she didn’t have the desire to goes but work kept her schedule prettied tied up but somehow the day came around and luck appeared to be on her side when her last shift of the day was cut short early. All it took were a couple of text messages before an eager car of senior boys showed up in front of her house as a willing ride. The moment they reached the party she ditched them before she could even make it past the doors.
The best thing about out of town parties was just that, they were out of town, Mini’s chances of running into someone she knew lowered, allowing the blonde to enjoy herself fully without fear of being forced to make small talk with a familiar face. Parties like these were the only time Mini was allowed to be eighteen, the only time she was able to be just another face in a crowd of people with no worries to plague her thoughts.
She was type to dance as if no one was watching, giving herself over to the beat of the music as she swayed along with a group of unfamiliar faces. It was a talent to move along in such a crowded place while holding a red solo cup filled the brim and not spilling it, she was quite proud of that until she felt a force colliding against her that caused it’s mixed contents to spill onto her tank. “How about you watch what the hell you’re doing?” She shouted over the music, her eyes too focused on the soaked spot of her shirt to look up and see who’d been the culprit.
“This is why you’re my soulmate.” She disappeared and returned with a gallon of Rocky Road and two spoons. “Because you’re my soulmate, I thought at first we could just share saliva. Then I realised I’d have to wait for you to finish for my turn and was like, hell nah.”
“If you’re so desperate to know what I taste like just let me know. I’ll give you a kiss or spread my legs, you pick.” Mini reached for one of the spoons and leaned back into the couch, pulling both of her legs up off the floor and patted the space down next to her. “Did I tell you one of the girls on the cheer team decided to take it upon herself to feel me up when I came tumbling down? I swear she got to third base without even saying hey.”
to all boys ever
“Seriously though, I’m raiding your fridge.”
“Raid away, I haven’t been shopping in like a week. I usually just bring Kate leftovers from Moody’s. Do you want some ice cream? We have plenty of that.”
“Babe, if you spat in my mouth I’d be honored to vacuum that shit up like a Dyson. I bet I’d be able to taste all of Bayside’s balls in your saliva.”
“Bayside and then some.”
luckyalmasri:
“I know it’ll go against your natural instincts as a born-swallower, but that only makes me appreciate the sacrifice more.”
“Slut up or shut up, right? Or in this case spit don’t swallow.”
“I can’t. My legs have stopped working. You’re gonna have to cook me lunch and feed it to me before I can regain my strength.”
“Am I going to have to chew for you too and spit it in your mouth like a little bird?”
luckyalmasri:
“Why don’t you fuck me instead?”
“Okay, I can’t even say that with a straight face.”
“You’re seriously asking for a kick in the ass. First you try to screw my mother and then you don’t want to screw me? Get out of my house.”
“Don’t rub it in my face that I’m not famous, one day I’ll be known for something. Just you wait and see. Pimp me out? ..I’m cool with that, actually. I’m beautiful enough to bring in some mass amounts of cash, and I believe in your pimping abilities. Put me in my place? What’s that supposed to mean, huh?”
“Oh yeah? And do you have any idea as to what you’re going to do to become famous or are you wanting to just wing and pray for the best. There’s a movie star in town, have you heard? Some Hollywood cowboy who’s been banished to the east coast. Maybe you ask him for some tips. You don’t know by what I mean when I say putting you in your place? Haven’t you ever seen a drug lord type of movie?”
katemichelson:
“Pish posh,” Kate answered, kicking off her heels with each word. “You can never have an excess of something good, just of something bad. One day, you suffer and suffer and suffer, and the pain will be too unbearable, and you have to cut off the thing causing that pain,” she insisted, despite her horrible record of cutting off guys who were awful for her, “but pleasure? Maybe gluttony is a sin, but those Bible thumpers have no idea what having multiple orgasms is like or the sweet sweet taste of really good liquor.”
By now Mini had grown used to her mother going off in short speeches when intoxicated, most of them tried to justify her excessive alcohol intake, Mini simple nodded and gave the occasional noise to pretend she was listening. “Bible thumpers, basically everyone else in town,” she added almost as an afterthought. With both drinks in hand Mini made her way over towards her mother and handed her the glass, Kate’s glass being filled more than her own. “Hey, do you wanna hear something funny? Mrs. Damiani practically pounced on me the other day because she thinks I’m having an affair with her husband.”
katemichelson:
“Mom,” she corrected as she released her daughter. “I did not spend hours pushing you out of my vagina to lose my title,” she added, slipping back a few steps, a laugh on her lips. “Very good night. But the lady from the bar made me come home,” she pouted, falling down into a chair. “Be a sweetheart and make us both a cocktail, Mini Mouse.”
“I said Mom, didn’t I?” Mini teased in a light tone. She knew how much her mother hated when she hated her Kate, like if the title was the only thing she had despite not always acting like one. With a sigh Mini pushed herself up from the desk and made her way towards the bar, most of the bottles already empty which didn’t surprise her much. “Don’t you think you’ve had enough already?” Despite her words Mini made no move to stop as she began to mix one of Kate’s favourite drinks.
Kate smiled at her daughter’s antics, her movements unsteady, though flowing as she wrapped her arms around her daughter’s back. “To show my baby girl this sweet ass house we just scored.”
Mini smiled and put her pen down, turning over slightly to get a better look at her mother. “The house was already ours to begin with, Kate,” she paused as she noticed that familiar scent lingering on her mother’s breath, “did you have a good time tonight?”
“Helloooo,” Kate called, slipping into the seemingly empty building. “Anybody home?” she shouted, her arms outstretched towards her sides as she attempted to walk in a straight line.
“Noone’s home. I’ve moved and decided to let you fend for yourself. What’s your first move going to be as a woman with her house all to herself?”
