Personally I headcanon that tiefling magic starts to manifest around puberty, but if that wasn’t the case, they’d just have to suck it up and tiefling baby-proof the hell out of the place. B) Have no vases and stuff that might fall over and break during tremors. Have sturdy furniture. Lock doors and windows. Avoid having open flames around. Shove cotton or something into your ears.

Oh yeah, and some of the babies might in that case be able to cast friends, minor illusion, ray of frost, or mage hand. Could result in chaos…

i’m gonna run this as a variant of Honey Heist

you have two stats, Demon and Baby. you start out with three points in each.

doing Demon things such as casting spells, attacking people, or stealing things earns you points in Demon.

doing Baby things such as being cute (an adult must be present for this to count) or eating candy earns you points in Baby

if you get six points in Baby, you revert to being a normal (helpless) toddler until the orphanage headmaster comes to pick you up.

if you get six points in Demon… well. interesting things happen.

I did run this and it was enormous fun, character sheets here if anyone wants to do the Honey Heist model themselves.

Lots of good moments, but the one I think I will recount is that going into the final phase, several of the players realized that they were too far into Baby and needed to acquire some Devil points, and the easiest way to get Devil points is “being a dick to someone for no reason.”

so the toddlers ran around in the park being a dick to the townspeople picnicking there: kicking them in the shins, slapping ice cream out of their hands, and telling them that they were too fat for those pants.
