I’ve been reading around and I keep seeing this term, abc (anyone but Carol), especially directed at Donnie shippers. Give me a break. Fans didn’t pull Donnie out of thin air to spite Caryl shippers. It actually happened on the show...the flirting, the touching, the cuteness etc. The writers have clearly given a POSSIBLE alternative to Caryl, even voiced by Carol herself. Does that mean it’s going to turn romantic? Who knows? But dismissing Donnie shippers is unfair, IMHO. At this point, it could go either way, or no way. The writing is ambiguous enough to support both ships, or to have both continue as friendships. I don’t understand why people can’t just live and let live.
