so I WAS gonna try and do some Spider Noir fanart but I ended up skimming through some other Nic Cage projects and watched 2007's Ghost Rider and I became mildly obsessed (mainly cause of Nic himself lol)

I'm gonna do it again with colored pencils though cause the 2 brown markers I had weren't dark enough but LOOK AT HIM

Loved, and not by our works

My pastor pointed out that God the Father said "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:13-17) about Jesus BEFORE Jesus did anything (before the miracles, healing, etc) and that this statement is for us, too. His point was that God's love for us predates, and exists independently of, anything we do for Him. This reminds me of one of my favorite verses, Romans 5:8: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

TL;DR: God's love isn't earned or maintained through our efforts. God loves us and does His part whether or not we reciprocate or do our part.

Oh and speaking of God loving us first, I recommend the song "Love Moved First" by Casting Crowns :)

When you're going through the wringer but still in God's hands lol <3

I had an idea for depicting a person in God's hands with various emotions (anger, sadness, joy, etc) but ended up with just these so far.

Been thinking about the little tmnt x fnaf project of mine and I began contemplating a movie version

And I'm also realizing how funny and absurd a movie version of my au would be

Like, for it to kind of make sense in the movie setting, the turtles being the restaurant mascots would be a product of an ambiguously legal(??????) collab between the Fazbear franchise and the Ninja turtles franchise to capitalize on both

And the closure of said restaurant would be due to the missing children, animatronic mishaps and whatnot,,,, y'know the usual business

I might sketch some of my ideas up but we'll see >:3
