Actually tbh i’ve been feeling like shit ever since he was born. I can’t breastfeed my own kid and I feel like everyone around me is judging me bc of it. He wouldn’t feed to the point where he got dehydrated in the hospital and got crazy jaundiced and that just made me feel worse

Ive been having crying jags but those only last a day or so, so w/e

But idk i just feel inadequate in general. 95% of the time he’s with me he’s just screaming his little head off and i am really at a loss as to what to do. And i know I’m rly lucky and shit bc i have my husband and parents to help me out but he’s so much calmer with them and that just makes things 109000000x more frustrating.

an evening of reading the most awful misogynistic articles on dumb islamic websites has lead me to this:

i’ve always kind of wanted to do a webcomic starring a badass muslim superhero who defends women against the kind of stupid idiocy we have to put up with every day whilst shutting up all the white feminists who try to co-opt the struggle.

i actually sincerely want to develop this because do you REALIZE the potential behind a hijabi/niqabi superhero like her outfit comes with a ready-made abaya-cape and a mask so i’m really into it but yeah this is sort of a quick brain storming comic for the entire concept lemme know if you like it.

So I guess along with my return to twitter I'm back on tumblr too.
