Beenzino is from New Zealand? I feel like vaguely I remember learning that at some point but I always totally forget untill the next time someone brings it up. Microdot just posted a pic of him, Sanchez, Zino, and their friend with the caption “4Kiwis” (”Kiwi” is what people from New Zealand call themselves).
EDIT: Random fun fact but Park Kyung (Block B) went to school in New Zealand. He’s not “from” New Zealand from my understanding but he did live there for a while.
I literally ALWAYS forget that Beenzino is from New Zealand. IS it me or does he NEVER talk about about it? Like most of the others who are from other places do bring it up here and there but he doesn’t. Maybe I just don’t follow him enough.
Wooow I thought he just studied there
He lived there for a large portion of his childhood. Moved back to Korea right before middle school. I’m pretty sure he was born in South Korea though.
So I guess he can be considered as being “from” both since he split so much time between the two. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t come across as strong as someone like Microdot and Sanchez who spent most of their lives in New Zealand.
It’s been 2 years and I’m still not over 7th Sense. The beat, the lyrics, the entire MV. Even though they changed the ending of the choreo, it somehow made it better and I can’t stop watching it. I think it’s my favorite kpop song.
“One of These Nights” by Red Velvet is not only one of the best k-pop songs ever, it’s one of the best songs ever period. It trascends genres and time.

may 25th. ten years ago today shinee made their official broadcast performance, and overall, debut with their debut single, “replay”, on sbs inkigayo. in the ten years that have followed shinee (onew, jonghyun, key, minho and taemin) have blessed us, domestically, with: fifteen promotional singles, five full albums, five concert tours, five mini albums, four concert albums, and countless solo projects (including two solo debuts with eight korean albums between them, member participation in two subunits, fixed mc and variety gigs, roles in dramas and films). today we celebrate their hard work and love for not only fans but each other and remember, as usual, that shinee will forever be five. for those with a public twitter account who would like to join in on helping draw attention to shinee’s anniversary through trending please use any or all of the following hashtags: #10YearsWith5HINee #SHINee10thAnniversary #TheStoryOfLight
