Productive Morning Routine
Establishing a routine in the mornings will help you do things faster in the a.m. Hereโs what I do every morning to keep myself productive and use my time effectively. Wake up at whatever time you need to get everything done and meet all your obligations. Do a few morning stretches to wake yourself up and get some more oxygen into your muscles. Make a glass of warm lemon water to kickstart digestion and energize your body. Shower (if you didnโt the night before or you did and just like showering twice a day) Do your skincare routine. This can be minimal or 20 steps as long as you are taking care of yourself. Pick out an outfit that best shows the world who you are and who you want to be. I know thats a lot to think of when getting dressed but it keeps you looking put together and youโll feel more confident. Make yourself breakfast and coffee, tea, a smoothie or more water. Light a candle and begin taking care of your space. Water plants, pick clothes up off the floor, and clear off your workspace. Fill out or check your planner or calendar and make a to-do list. Once everything is taken care of, you can use technology again, checking social media, answering emails, even watching some TV. Set a timer so you donโt spend too much time here. A productive day doesnโt always mean leaving the house. If you do have work, school or even spending time with friends, get your things together and get ready to head out the door (just be sure to blow out the candle first :)
