The archangel had thought he was alone. It's the only reason he'd bring such an item out of his own hiding place for it. Gabriel had been toying with his horn of truth, passing the celestial instrument between his hands as his mulled over using it. This town was too strange, too unpredictable for his liking and at least with this horn he'd be able to get some answers.
At the sound of the other's voice, Gabriel realized he'd been far too concentrated on his thoughts to notice her approach. Within an instant, he sent the horn back to it's hiding place - the instrument disappeared from his hands with a quick pop. "Sorry..." He muttered, allowing the most innocence expression to flint across his features. "I don't have anything." He knew he was busted, but he was the trickster after all. "What is it you have there?" Gabriel's eyebrow shot up with curiosity.
Despite her lack of knowledge of such supernatural beings, Miray had lived for a long time. She was aware that certain things may exist but had yet to come across angels or demons. She had read, many ancient texts which spoke of such, but until now, she had put it down to myths alone. She knew better, she knew what lurked in the dark and knew she could easily be surprised with such an appearance.
As the object disappeared, eyes narrowed together, approaching him to stand before him. Arms fold over her chest, brows knitting together with concern. "Do I look like I was born yesterday?" She asked, exhaling sharply. His question spurred her to reach into her pocket, retrieving the knife with a smirk. Raising it towards his throat , trailing the blade against his jawline , an ambitious smirk remained. "You'll find out if you don't show me whatever you're hiding."
"What do you have there?" The vampire was both bored, and intrigued by the others presence. She could not see what they were holding but was keen to find out if it peaked her interest.
