So the instant thought of Will is "they are for Jane". So Will ask about it and the response Mike gives him is "they were for you", and idk.

Mike got confident, but knows Will doesn't like him back anymore, but he doesn't know Will has him stuck in his head.

This is just pushing both in trouble.
