Happy 10th anniversary to Pokémon GO! 🥳

Who knew that when I shyly asked my local group in 2017 if I could bring some chocolates to the next meet up that it'd become such a rewarding tradition. Without Pokémon GO I might never have found my community, I'd probably just make the occasional Pokémon treat for myself and leave it at that.

Who's that...cake? 🤔🍰 Wanted to attempt multiple designs to try making Cortadillo (aka the "dot cake" trend), but I realized I could just make Ditto and the rest would follow 😌 (Edit: updated video with one that shows more of the process!)

(JK making all these designs was so much more complicated than I thought I'm still finding sprinkles on my floor)

Clodsire and Quagsire cake to celebrate my birthday, happy birthday to me! 🎂🤎🩵

It's really nice to make something just for me, plus it's harder to feel existential dread when I'm smiling at how cute my buttercream Clodsire turned out, look at my boy 🥹

Inside is chocolate cake with chantilly cream that I mixed with chocolate black sesame butter, with chocolate ganache frosting outside. Turned out better than I thought, definitely want to make this again!

I used some sourdough bread that I cut up, peanut butter, cream cheese, and black sesame butter for mine, but you could use anything similar like sun butter and chocolate, etc. If only I could share this with my Cubone in Pokopia!
