Noi was usually the impulsive one, the foolish one, emotionally open one. Which was why when he felt the weight on his shoulder, it was unexpected, and Shin straightened his back. Apparently she’d noticed something he hadn’t, otherwise he wouldn’t have let it show. Or maybe she just knew him that well.

Still Shin didn’t reveal himself so easily. He just frowned at Noi, furrowed his brows, and pulled his mask back over his face. 

“You shouldn’t just touch people like that,” he scolded, feeling his face heat up some. 

It was stupid, just a hand on his shoulder. Just a hiccup in his composure. He wasn’t sad that En had died because he knew they would stop at nothing to bring him back to life. Besides it didn’t really matter. He hadn’t actually taken Shin in when no one else would. No, Noi had done that. 

Still, when Noi didn’t get the hint to stop touching him. He didn’t pull away. Just kind of sat there and sighed.

It was only a little amusing that he’d engaged in quite a few naughty acts with Nia at this point, but she still seemed so bashful when it came to initiating any sort of physical touch. Or perhaps it was the fact that hand holding implied something softer, something sweeter.. Something that sent a light flutter into his stomach, and Atsuhiro wasn’t always the easiest to read.

He eyed her for a moment, cocking his head, interpreting the action before threading his fingers in with hers.

“You have to be careful around these ledges,” he hummed almost absent mindedly, as if he wasn’t really thinking about the action. They were walking around the woods of the MLA’s villa and it was quite the mountainous region. The perfect place for training if any of the youngster’s wished to hone their powersets, and for the more experienced ones of the group to practice tricks. 

Also it was just nice to breath some fresh air without fighting for their lives or the fate of society or what have you.

“I don’t need you tumbling down, and heavens forbid, breaking something!”

Atsuhiro squeezed her hand, then proceeded on the stroll without letting go of her. Clearly this had been done for her own good.
