The thing I love most about the H&M / Designer collabs are not the pieces themselves. To be honest, I am pretty disappointed with the collections most of the time. It's either boring or not wearable or not cool enough for me to slaughter my piggy bank. No, the clothes are surprisingly unexciting to me. But the ads always leave me impressed, stunned, amused, happy, emotional, thrilled, excited. The creative work of the producers, directors, musicians, post production and also the models is always impressive.  To me, the lanvin collab ad is still unreached. I just never get tired of the freakshow going on in that video.

Wow...how could this go by me unnoticed for so long?

The V&A Museum in London will not only show but expand the Alexander McQueen Exhibition "Savage Beauty" that was such a success at the MET in 2011. It will show 30 additional garments and take a closer look at the work he did in the 90s.

This is all very exciting news, so the biggest question is: Why this short amount of time? The whole show will only take place from march to may and over 16,000 tickets have been sold already, according to WWD.

So this makes me somewhere between super excited and a bit anxious. I might book just another London trip even before I next get there in November to finally see the bridal gown exhibit at the Victoria & Albert. Note to myself: If you travel to the same place that often – just stay there.
