Violet watched the planets surface from the navigational deck. A grim quiver of her lip the only movement. How she loathed those that abandoned their blood. It was always- she shook her head. Now was not the time. Now was the time to bring the awoken back to the fold. They had to temper the Void within or else he would destroy everything that he loved.
She set the coordinates for the village and dawned Chroma. The hearty frame would be necessary if Jack became... Resistant to her endeavor. He may not understand that if he were to feel strong emotions so gradually without training the Void, he could cause terrible accidents. He would have to be one Tenno if he ever wanted to return.
It took only moments for Violet to literally jump to the front of the ship, a large grin slapped to her face. She nearly hit the window as she slid onto the navigation pad. She already had the path selected, and only needed a moment to confirm the trip. And then she nearly hit the wall jumping back to her quarters. Violet stopped herself outside the door. She needed to calm down. Real herself back in.
Violet took a deep breath and stepped within the room, "There we go. We have a few hours to get there. So let me get the set..." She turned and opened a hidden compartment, pulling out a white and gold tea set. She set that to the side and instead pulled out a few mis matched bowls and a cast iron ketal. taking the fancy cups off the wooden tray-box and setting them back within the compartment, she set the rest on the table.
"Ozo has water ready for us," Violet said as she sat on her legs. she lifted the lid to the box the set had been on. She lifted out a small tin and set it to the side.
"I have a few teas, if you don't like this one, but matcha tea goes very well with the cakes I have."
Jack wondered about her exciting movements, it was a confined space yet she made it work as he followed her around before stopping at the spot where they'd make tea. "Violet you are extra jumpy and running today, is this going to be a fun trip?" He asked as he saw the cock pit as the ship was flying through space. He always wondered what space was like. Now he knows. The smell of the tea as it boiled made him smiled as he looked at Violet from an angle and blushed. She was practically glowing with positive energy and joy.
"Aww its cause you missed me! I missed you just as much Violet!" Jack said as he hugged her tightly from behind as strong as he could, his muscles being felt from behind as he was as giddy as ever.
Violet snickered at his antics, "I did miss you Jack. But it is also that my blood clan has not had any new acolytes in quite a few years. We just... Haven't had the need." To much anger, revenge was getting in the way for meaningful relations for those within the Valkyr line.
She turned to him and motioned him to the shelf where her bobbles were. "The three that create the usual clans we conspire with, Loki, Rhino, and Valkyr, have all kind of been stagnant."
She shrugged," I suppose it's because we don't need anyone currently. The War itself is stagnant."
Jack had a curious expression when she mentioned the three. Wondering what they were, although Rhino and Valkyr sounded very fun. "What happen3d with Valkyr? Did they forget someones birthday?" He asked as they saw the lavender tea and asked for that one. "This one please. Also that's weird that Tennos have feuds with eachother. Are not families supposed to work together to solve disputes?" He asked as he was wanting to learn more about the houses and such.
As she mentioned a war, it was the first Jack had heard of it. "War? What worlds would possibly fight over Frames?" Jack asked as he was even more curious about this newfound knowledge.
Violet laughed as though Jack had said the funniest thing in the world, yet her eyes held a hard tone. It was not at him, she made that known by reaching out her very top emotions at him. No, she was not mad at Jack.
"Every world in the Sol system wishes to control us Jack," Violet said as she calmed down. "Either control or destroy us. We are the ultimate weapon. We ravaged the worlds and set the oceans red with blood. We bring destruction and death where ever we walk. Even our youngest students have blood on their hands."
"It was why I was followed when we originally met," she reminded him. She poured the water over the tea and let it sit only for a moment before taking the large cup and pouring it over the cups and the small figurine of what looked like a black crow. The hot water turned the stone white. She then duped the cups onto the crow as well.
"There you are," she said as she turned the tray to face Jack. "Everything is washed, so you only have to brew the second brew for us."
Jack felt like he had struck a nerve, his face gave off a look of someone that had insulted a friend without realizing until now. All he could do is hear her words and picture the endless oceans of blood. Then there it was. Oceans, the very thing that set him off everytime. Jack tookna moment to calm down before helping make the tea. He wondered why he had to do such a simple task when he could do both. But there it was again. The idea of oceans clouding his mind with dark storms. He started on the tea and did as his mother taught him. Step by step he made a fresh tea for them and waiting for the water to boil.
"I'm sorry that you're people must be set on that line of a violent existence." Jack softly spoke as he held out his hand and placed it on Violets shoulder. "Life can be tough, it is what we do with our strengths that make us survive then thrive." Jack said as if speaking like the wise men of his village.
"But it is your people too, Jack. Not just mine. Your ability of the Void coming forth proves that. And to be left alone with even the chance..." She shook her head.
"You and your family should not have been left alone. You should have been takin in when you were born. But we will correct this. And you will have a better chance."
She looked to her hands, sighing,"And you will have a blood bath like the rest of us."
