It's been a while huh? I'm on vacation now so I decided to try and finish this. It took longer than expected and it left me with a raging fury, so please do understand if something is incorrect. Boom is basically incomprehensible 50% of the time so most of what he said I just guessed based on context.

I got to go to MR.MR's showcase today~ I'll try to write this while I remember clearly. Though even now I've already forgotten most of the song order OTL
First of all, there were a loooot of Japanese fans and quite a number of other foreign fans. It was really cute because Changjae decided they should translate into English for us♥ And idk what to say other than that it was really cute, because one of the members would say a full sentence in Korean and then Changjae would piece together like 3 English words and then look so accomplished I'm really dying idk it was so cute♥♥♥ lol he gave up on the Japanese translation after like the first sentence though OTL And then he gave up on the English translation after he didn't know the translation for double eyelid and everyone shouted the translation for him anyway XD he was like "oh, you guys know~"
They started with Who's That Girl, then Waiting for You then Highway and then Do You Feel Me I think? First a ment with I think Jin and Changjae??? They asked questions and the person who answered the question right got a polaroid picture with the member. Jin's question was "Who is my favorite soccer player?" Like we're going to know that??? But I think he was just looking for someone to answer with a soccer player, because he said the first person got it right. Ryu sang a ballad and then Changjae interviewed Ryu and Tey. Ryu's question was what is his complex, and his answer was his birthmark on his neck. Which. Um. It's more like on his chest and Changjae or Tey I don't remember who decided everyone should see and proceeded to unbutton Ryu's shirt... lol, so we finally got to see the mysterious "neck" birthmark which is not actually on his neck so that explains a lot. Tey's question was??? I can't remember -_-;; Then Tey sang "Chocolate Legs" by Eric Benet. tbh it was really awkward because the song was a bit too high for him and the lyrics...the other foreigners I was sitting with kept whispering "does he know what the lyrics mean?" kind of astonished. After that I think Tey and Ryu duet? tbh I really don't remember the order;; I should have written it down as we were going but I was too star struck;; I think then Doyeon came out in glasses and everyone screamed for him. They had more casual outfits on and then Changjae/someone? interviewed him too and his question was why did he sometimes have double eyelids on both eyes but now only has one double eyelid. And I didn't hear the answer to that question -_-;; Then they sang "My Girl" and came down into the crowd a little bit. Then they drew numbers and the fan whose number got drawn (a Japanese fan) got to sit in a chair on stage as they sang to her. She looked kind of miserable but I think she was just really nervous~ Then a cover of another song. It was a rock song and I can't remember the name....I really like the song though so I was excited they were singing it (I really hope WIM posts the Showcase online later, because the performances were really great and the ment sections were fun)
Then I thinkkkkkk Kiss&Cry came out and performed while MR.MR was putting on their Big Man clothes. They performed Modernly and their Lady Marmalade cover from Sketchbook. I was kind of disappointed they didn't perform Domino Game, but I understand since they have their own concerts this weekend. Their cover of Lady Marmalade literally gave me shivers though their voices were soooo perfect. And Bohye and Haena are tiny omg;;
Speaking of size...the MR.MR members were a little bit shorter than I expected? They're not really that much shorter than their profile heights, but since they're always promoted as being a tall group, I expected them to be taller somehow. They're still pretty tall, but two of my coworkers are 6'2" and the MR.MR members are definitely shorter than that. But again, that's what their profile says pretty much, so idk why I'm complaining.
Then it was Big Man! The outfits were really cool and the song is a bit of a mix between rock and 90's boy band music~ That may not sound appealing but it really is! I'm so glad I have the CD so I can listen to it again and again. The choreo during the chorus is the best~ A wave/hip thrust mix and also a VIXX-esque sort of zombie move. They performed all the other songs live, but they lipsynched to Big Man. To the point where they didn't even have mics when they were singing.
Then it was the encore and I don't remember this song... maybe "My Everything"? idk I can't remember honestly. Then they danced to Big Man for us again~ Tey took off his jacket so his arm muscles were...like, stunning me *_* Then it was time for the hug event and they moved MR.MR to the back of the room so that we would hug them as we were leaving. I was too shy for a proper hug -_-;;;;;;;; but they were all really sweet~ Jin offered a handshake instead of a hug at first and idk why? Because I looked shy I guess? But really...very unenthusiastic hugs. I don't know if that was because of them or me though ><
Other random observations...Jin looked kind of nhft at the beginning of the showcase but he warmed up a bit as the showcase went on. Ryu was a fanservice monster my god. He's not originally my bias but he kept doing fanservice to the girls behind me and I died a million times OTL Doyeon as usual seemed a bit spacy but he did make eye contact or kind of eye contact a couple times so I was happy~ Tey also did quite a bit of fan service that injured my heart;; I wasn't really watching Changjae since he's not my bias and he doesn't really have lines, but he was super charismatic when he did his lines~ Especially for his rapping parts~ Really, all the girls screamed XD Jin really did very minimal fanservice, but I think he might have been a bit down because of the Sewol Ferry Disaster. He mentioned it a couple times, including saying that we should all pray for the people affected.
As far as looks...personally I think Doyeon looks better in person but idk if that's just my bias speaking :x Other than that, they all kind of looked the same as they do in pictures? Changjae's face is smaller than it looks in pictures though. And Tey has kind of narrow-ish shoulders?
eta: during the talk portions Changjae also asked them what would they do if they were late for meeting their girlfriend. The answers were kind of lame except for Doyeon who KEPT getting confused about whether he or his girlfriend was the one who was late and then when he finally got it right gave the shittiest apology ever and Changjae was just like, "Yes, this is how he is," and went on. I have the worst bias ever????
And also when they changed into the casual outfits...Ryu's pants were really tight and kind of everyone noticed and Ryu noticed that everyone noticed so. Um, I think if anyone Ryu is the "Big Man" in the group :x

Hmm, well, by making Tey the lead in some of their music videos I feel like the company was trying to push Tey as the visual initially. However, since Changjae is Lee Hwi Jae’s nephew and can appear on KBS programs like Dream Team because of his connections, Changjae is probably the most well-known member to the public. So I think the visual title is kind of shifting to Changjae over time.
The thing is…Tey was only the visual initially because he resembles Yoo Ah In and that was a point to get people interested in the group. And now that role is shifting to Changjae because him appearing on Dream Team is another interest point. Also because Yoo Ah In has been getting some negative press lately and connection to him is no longer beneficial.

I feel bad for essentially abandoning this blog, but like I mentioned before, I got a new job and it's actually my first full time job. It takes up a lot of my time, unfortunately. I will continue subbing MR.MR videos when I have time, though obviously I have much less time now.
My new job that I mentioned...is actually in Koreaㅠㅠ So yes, as long as everything works out I'll be going to the showcaseㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Originally I couldn't figure out how to pay and the banks are only open when I'm at work :(((( But in the end it wasn't that hard~ If you are in Korea too and want to go to the showcase but don't know how to pay, you can contact me for help~ And I'd love to meet up with other foreign MISOs too if you are going to the showcase :)
And finally, please pray for the victims of the ferry disaster in Korea. Their welfare is way more important than any comeback or showcase MR.MR might be having.
I'll be on hiatus for about a week or so. I'm not sure how long it will actually be, but I'm moving and starting a new job so I need to concentrate on that for a while. haha, it's really bad timing right now! But there's no helping that :) Have fun while I'm gone~

Although it's true that Bitna, who wrote the controversy-causing post, and I have had a close relationship since long ago
I want to definitely convey that the contents of the post, like that I was doing work related to a host bar, that I had a money problem, that a video exists, or that we were lovers, are all false.
Some hours after she wrote the posts while drunk, Bitna called me and said she'd made a mistake.
Since Bitna wrote the post in a personal space, I didn't think there would be any problem, so I told her not to worry and hung up.
However, that post was captured and slowly spread out to create a controversy.
We had a close relationship to the point where even on the day when Bitna was receiving surgery in order to begin her life as a woman, I was by her side protecting her.
I too understand how upset Bitna must have been when, after I became involved with becoming a singer, I was negligent and rarely contacted her.
To the MISOs who believed in me, worried for me and supported me, I personally said that I wasn't the person in the post, I thought this was the best plan for the MISOs who believed in me.
I have no thoughts of wanting to sue an old friend.
I also haven't thought of Bitna saying she ruined my life.
If that post was true, I would be embarrassed, but I haven't lived my life like that so I'm not.
However, though this incident, I thought that MR.MR's image was hurt because of me.
So I have decided to withdraw from MR.MR.
Each member of MR.MR is a great friend.
Through this incident I've caused a lot of anxiety but more than anyone else they are my friends and family who believed in me.
For the sake of the members, I will withdraw from the MR.MR that has this kind of members who have been covered in scars because of me.
I hope that MR.MR will no longer be hurt because of this incident.
In the future I will sincerely support MR.MR.
