The story focus on two pairs of people; agents David and Charles, who work for the government in the Paranormal Investigation Force, specializing in heavily paranormal based cases that local law enforcement can’t tackle alone.

The other are two teens, May, an energetic human girl bent on befriending shy and timid Nathin, who is half human and half Trickster.

I'm shooketh that I never got around to posting this video on here

This was one of the heavier topics I was assigned to. It was one of the first that the team encouraged me to utilize my video program built-in edits more, and the mood of the video motivated me to be more artistically telling with the topic. It was a very meditative experiences.

I added a check list to accompany the bar, I got 4 phases; Sketching Phase, Inking Phase, Color Phase, and Extra Content

I found it helpful when I break things down to complete tasks, it just feels easier

I'm kinda working on each thing simultaneously, so they'll be times when I checkout task from each category, lets see how this goes!

Finished Chapter ten as a whole! I'm happy I did because I had some trouble getting part B down due to some script issues, but I'm satisfied with the end result now

Chapter 11a is an exciting one, so I hope to have fun with that chapter!

Holy crap I have got so many questions for you.

1. Do you think it's kind of crappy that so many people hate on Psych2go?

2. How did PSI meet his boyfriend(the hoodie man)?

and 3. Which one's your favorite?

My favorite is this one:

1) Not really, it's disheartening to see, but that sort of reaction can happen for various reasons. The most I see are about the content not being a proper substitute or source for mental information. That's valid, most of the videos even state that they're education entertainment and to research and reach out to professionals if any of the video raises any concerns. They've also been trying to please the algorithm by making frequent content, which can be daunting for viewers as they miss a lot of videos.

2) Ah, yes, I have little control on what audio they give me to animate but I do take what opportunities I have to show the characters I designed some coherent dynamic and growth, even if told non-chronologically. For example the hoodie man's is named Mistletoe, and they met at work but focus on separate departments, so (although they cross paths) they're not together a lot and met more often outside of the office with friends. Psi and Mistletoe had a heart to heat at the end of '4 types of trauma' video, which sparked Psi's infatuation with Mistletoe toe that goes back to their opening episode. They weren't together at the time though. If I get back to animating again, and I get lucky, maybe I can get an audio that'll inspire a story line on how they got together.

3) It's a tie between Mistletoe and Aloe Vera -- Although, Spider Plant's aloofness is fun to depict XD

Now that I'm in the final phases of the page layout for volume 4, I thought it'd be helpful to have a progress bar to update when I finish each chapter

likely just reblog this post with the milestone colored in orange or post a new one, pin it, and just update that one every time

This'll no doubt take longer than the storybord phase because I have to sketch, ink, color, then add speech bubbles on the pages

But I learned a few new tricks that'll help with the process for sure, so on wards!

The latest video I’ve worked on with P2G. This was a biggie kind of project that was a challenge with time and balance, but I’m still fond of the end result. My favorite bit was designing new characters for this video in a way that reflect the personality they’re associated with. It was like a creative prompt like ‘personify the four seasons’! Anyways, I’d be taking a break from P2G videos to work on other projects I need to get done at the moment that I’ll be sure to update here. Enjoy the video!

Got another video out with Psych 2 Go!

Not much to say about this video, they had a new process of doing things and I found it helpful with keeping track of my development.

My fave bit was number 2's beginning bit with the mythology because I felt that I could get more creative yet simple with the art style.

I was on the writing and directing team for this little one-off Audio Drama show.

It's a scifi-horror about two investigative reporters going on board a space ship that went missing a month ago, and they rummage through old audio files to find out what happened.

I had a really good time with the crew, it was a lot of work, but fun too, 10/10 work experience!

I got into YOGURT Culture Zine next issue, Folklore

Here's my piece and a before-and-after for page one. White-out is best friend that covers up your errors and makes cleaning on computer easier!

That’s right;

I MADE THE WILLOW THUMBNAIL!

TBH this was my only thumbnail. With the topic being about improving yourself in a short amount of time, Willow from “the Owl House” was the first thing that came to mind, because of how much she grew as a character both on and off screen.

I did some test sketch’s but this one just resonated the strongest, and I knew this was the one.

All in all, this was an odd video to make. P2G usually does 5-7 things so I’d use the numbers as a marking point on my progress.

But this go around was only 3 things for extended period of time. So I improvised by heavily relying on time stamps and scenes i sketched out on my makeshift storyboards this go around.

Definitely interesting experience, somehow it felt like more was being done than when I do the usual list format.

A new video for Psych 2 go is out

I'll admit, I'm tempted to do a 'reading your comments for the P2G videos I did - though only focusing on the ones that relate to the animation and talk about behind-the-scenes stuff.

For example, the thumbnail has a miss spell, but they originally told me they were going with another design I did so I corrected that but not the other rejected pieces. At some point, they changed their minds without notifying me and went with one of the rejected designs.

I get why, this one is more representative of the topic than the original, also I should have applied the correction to all of the thumbnail samples when it was pointed out, in the event of such a moment occurs.

So yeah, getting in-depth with the work process intrigues me for my own youtube video.
