A new era. A new season.

Y’all, I cannot begin on this new album. So much love for it. It is the epitome of Taylor. It’s what I always knew was in her. Say what you want about her, but she has this amazing ability to tell a story through music and this type of music suits her vocals so well that it’s like she’s whispering the lyrics to life.

Every time an album comes out those great memories come flooding back- when I started her first fansite back in the good ole days on MySpace because I saw a curly haired girl singing her heart out on her guitar as a teenager in this commercial. I fell in love with her vibe and her storytelling then. She hooked me with her music even before her first album had even hit shelves. She’s been good to me with meet and greets and tickets, seeing a girl who desperately wanted to fit in and made me feel super special. Those conversations I had with her on her bus will always be super special because she was real and raw with me. . Like she is in her music. That’s not fake at all, that’s just how she truly is as a person.

I am SO happy to see her this happy, in love and in a good place in her life. I’ve been truly wondering how everything is with her and this album tells me everything I need to know.

I am in awe of tonight. Tears are streaming. I knew back in the summer of 06’ when I saw you on a tv commercial for Oscar Meyer that something was different with you. I found you on MySpace and started your first fansite, “Taylor Fans Unite” and just started spreading the word about your talent and awesomeness. Pretty soon word spread and it wasn’t just me spreading it. You had a fan at every corner and people were seeing what I had seen and before you knew it you were accepting your first award for video of the year at the cmt awards. Then a CMA, Grammy and AMA. They just kept coming because of how seriously talented and amazing you are. I remember being super excited with Abigail and calling her to scream when you won! I’ll never forget a moment on your first headline tour when I heard everyone singing your songs back to you and you just stood there in awe. That moment was the best moment to me because I knew you had gotten what you had wanted. Your wish had come true and it was written all over your face. 🥰

Now time has passed and I haven’t been able to go to as many shows as I would have liked because of “Adulting” and whatnot but I want you to truly know that I am still here supporting you and cheering you on and I’m still screaming the lyrics in my car and remembering the good times of being your first fansite creator and seeing you cross off the checklist of becoming a superstar because girl you’re not just a star now.. you’re the ARTIST OF THE FREAKIN DECADE! It’s been awhile girlfriend! We both have grown up a lot and our lives are way different now than when we last met. I’m married now, (to a guy named Taylor coincidently) and you are happily with the love of your life about to release one of the best albums you’ve ever created I do believe. 😭😊(I’m so excited to hear it!)

I know we haven’t talked in awhile but I wanted you to know that I’m still here. I’m still one of your #1 fans to this day and I still jam out to every album. I’m so glad I was able to start one of your first fansites ever, “Taylor Fans Unite” on good ole MySpace back in the day! It forever started a chain of some of my favorite memories and I’m so thankful for your friendship and help back then. You deserve the very best and I’m so happy you’ve found it! I’m so obsessed with Lover... like I just love how every song is basically out of her diary and so personal raw and real. She has always had such a connection by with her fans by doing that.
