Cutest Hermelin by Walter Sprecher
You deserve that break and you need it to recover.
Mental illnesses are hard to deal with on a daily basis. Your mental breakdowns are as serious as spraining your ankles. You don't want to keep doing what you were doing before or you'll end up hurting yourself continuously.
Also you are absolutely entitled to take as many breaks as you need, feel free to adjust their lengths to the gravity of your mental breakdown.
Feeling a bit low and detached from reality lately? A couple of hours doing things you love and practising self-care is what you need.
Been crying all day and the only thing keeping you from screaming is that you don't want to deal with the people living in the same house as you? You probably need an entire day off. Or as much as you can.
Being living in the bed for a couple of days and crawling out only to eat and use facilities? You need to seek help and take little steps towards recover. It will be a bit hard but you'll get there.
Remember that you're not alone. Somewhere out there somebody feels exactly like you. And you can both overcome this.
Edna St. Vincent Millay, Collected Poems
“When we think of the past it’s the beautiful things we pick out. We want to believe it was all like that.”
— Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale (via quotespile)
i have been very yellow* and red** recently
*yellow (adj) unbelievably happy
**red (verb) pushing ones self futher than normal
do you ever think that I could be end game
I am starting to think you are
I am starting to miss you like crazy and it makes me not want you ; not having you at all would be worse though...
I am always dreaming of somewhere else ; I am worried that place doesn’t exist
i could stare at you for hours and never get bored; looking at you is like looking at the stars
i just want to tell you everything about me
