Alphonse looked at the other with wide eyes before shaking his head. “Don’t just get out of here.” Suddenly he could he the footsteps coming from behind causing him to panic. “Go!”
— [ ☤ ] The place was a goddamn maze and Ed was currently kicking himself for not paying better attention to how he got in. He rounded a corner, still pulling Al along behind him. He could hear that the shouts were getting closer and he was sure they were done for until he spotted the vent in the side of the wall, right where he’d come in, “Quick this way!” He pulled the grate off and made a hurried motion for Al to go first.
The younger boy followed scared of the punishment he would get if he was caught with the other. He had try to get away once and it hadn't been pretty what had happened when he had been caught. Once they got to the vent Al hesitated going to ask or protest when he heard the voices from behind making him quickly climb in.
