Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I'm Jimie (not my real name but it's my nickname), from the Philippines.
I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your prayers and any help you can extend as I continue to battle NMOSD (Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder) — a rare and chronic illness that affects the nerves and spinal cord. I was actually diagnosed with this condition last July 2025.
It’s been very tough lately, especially after losing my father last May 2025. My mother and brother are both earning minimum wage, and we’re doing our best to manage my treatments and medications, which are quite expensive. 🥺
Any amount of help, no matter how small, would mean a lot to me and my family. But more than anything, your prayers and words of encouragement give me the strength to keep going every day.

Almost a year ago, I was diagnosed with NMOSD, a rare autoimmune disease that changed my life completely. Since then, my mother has been my biggest support system — emotionally, physically, and financially. She has carried so many burdens just to help me continue my treatments, medications, and hospital visits.
As much as possible, I tried not to ask for help, but the continuous expenses have become difficult for us to manage alone. It hurts me seeing my mother carry everything while I can’t help her the way I want to because of my condition.
Today, with humility, I am opening my heart to ask for any financial help, prayers, or even simply sharing this post. Any amount would greatly help lessen the burden of my ongoing treatment and medical needs.
