Fall 2012 Is Here
That's right folks, the Fall 2012 Mister Pops lineup is here in all its glory. Along with a bunch of clean new designs we decided to put some of our older designs on sale at a new low price. Be sure to pick up some gear and a nice warm crew neck for the coming winter. We'll have more info to come on the future of the Mister Pops Dream Project as well as our new music channel. So stay tuned!
Syria (*Warning: Graphic Video*)
With Mister Pops Dream Project on the way within the coming month. We have been working to change the focus of Mister Pops towards our original intentions when this all started. We have been working to focus Mister Pops towards encouraging and enabling those to pursue their dreams. Many of us young and old, are lucky enough to live in places that make those pursuits less challenging than they already are; but many are not as lucky as some of us. Many people live in poor or war ravaged countries making it nearly impossible to even attain basic needs let alone work towards a better life. Within the coming month parallel to our new product launch we will be starting our "Dream Project." The Dream Project will be our way of helping those in need of it most. We are excited to reveal more about it in the coming week!
While you wait, take some time to watch this video portraying the truth of what is happening down in Syria. Just a forewarning, there is some graphic content as the video is a real and unedited depiction of the war in Syria.

Wheels N Meals 8
We have been collaborating with Money Makin Mission to create a duo inspired video recap of the 8th Wheels N Meals. Together we captured all the glory of cars, vendors, food trucks, and the community. Kicking off the summer season and into fall, Wheels N Meals 8 was a great end to the summer showing what Bay Area car shows are all about!
We want to thank Mercury News and cars.com for the support to make events like this happen.
Also of course we want to thank our pals Money Makin Mission for taking time to collab to make this awesome video.
Meet Belle..uhh..I mean Alicia
After spending a majority of the morning fighting prehistoric dinosaurs and designing some new goodies for this falls launch. We went out and hung with our good friends from Higher Contrast and Alicia. Of course as many of you may know, Higher Contrast has done most of our photography and has been there since the start. Alicia is a good friend of ours. She does amazing artwork, as well as a great singer and actress. Every now and then we like to put the spotlight on some great artists and appreciate them for their talents.
Belle being Alicia's favorite Disney character and actually having the honor to perform in Beauty and the Beast as Belle. It was no more fitting than to have a photo shoot done by Higher Contrast.
Of course the photo shoot went smooth and the photos will probably be on Higher Contrast's blog or Facebook within the next few days to check out. Robert from Higher Contrast has an amazing skill set, and most definitely knows his way around a camera and lighting.
Alicia herself is an amazing artist, her skill sets in graphic and traditional art progressively grow and look quite amazing. We could be assure, that in no time we will see her works out in this big world of ours. In the mean time, don't be surprised if you end up seeing her as a Disney princess up in Disneyland. She pulls off one pretty convincing Belle voice.

Mister Cupcakes and Ice Cream
Yesterday we took a little trip on down to the pier in San Francisco, to get in line with the hundreds of other people eagerly waiting to meet Johnny Cupcakes. With a collaboration, with our very own Bay Area Treat Bot, Johnny Cupcakes and his crew sold limited edition Junk Food and throw back shirts, along with giving out free ice cream.
The line to free ice cream and cupcake shirts was a two hour wait. During that time we got a chance to talk to the people around us and meet other Johnny Cupcakes fans. We sticker slapped some poles and got to say some words for the cupcakes camera. People dressed in vintage ice cream men uniforms, passed out some cleverly designed flyers that looked like Popsicle on a stick. The experience was nothing short of fun and memorable.
After the wait we made it to the front of the line. They took our order classic diner style, with a pen and pad. While waiting for them to pack our shirts we stood in line to get some free ice cream from treat bot. The whole experience couldn't have been more authentic, especially along with the warm San Francisco weather.
After getting our shirts and ice cream, we waited in another 2 hour line for the best part...meeting Johnny Cupcakes himself. The best part about meeting him is being able to chat with him. He takes time to talk to every one of his customers. Also if you are a business owner, he's always happy to give advice from his own experience. Probably one of the biggest tips he was giving this time around was, "Sit down and figure out 12 things that make your business different." It's obvious how much thinking outside the box and thriving to be different helps a business thrive. Mister Earl's brand is a prime example of what hard work and thinking outside of the box can do for a business. Out of this whole experience this was probably the most important. Being a brand ourselves, learning from the greats of this business is nothing but priceless.

The Night Market Week 3
Our third week at the Night Market was nothing short from a success. It was fun, family and friends came to hang out, and we were able to tell plenty of people about Mister Pops.
The thing about these Night Markets that get me the most, is the atmosphere. The night sky is dimly lit with the lights of vendor stands and food trucks. The smell of good food is in the air and everyone is walking around chatting and enjoying life. Every week they have new talent playing music, keeping it fresh. Such as tonight, the DJ's that were playing were nothing short of entertaining. It was obvious everyone was having a good time.
The thing about good entertainment, is getting everyone in the crowd involved. Making them feel like they are a part of the action.
Aside from the fun entertainment, food trucks are probably the greatest reason people come to these. The food trucks are ran and organized by Moveable Feast. Their job is to rally food trucks to a location and tell people where they are going to be. The food trucks that run in the Moveable Feast caravan consist of dozens of different foods. From juicy sandwiches, delicious treat bot and scoops ice cream, to bizarre combinations such as a doughnut burger from the Dough Truck. If you haven't been to any Moveable Feast locations, it would be a good idea to check out the next closest meet up spot and go as soon as possible. The smell of great food while sitting on red buckets, while chowing down with hundreds of other people is something to be experienced at least once.
At the end of the day, the thing to be appreciated most is the chance to hang out with the people you love, while being able to meet new friends. Nothing else in the world is worth it, if you don't have the people you love by your side. All those fun moments and experiences are so much richer when they're there.
The 3rd Night Market was nothing short of fun. Days/nights like these make beyond everything worth it. All the friends and supporters make everything a million times better.

FAANadix 2012 Video Recap
The video recap of FANadix car show is up and ready. We got some good footage of the event with a lot of help from our good friend Ronald Meyers.
FAANadix 2012
The pictures have been posted on our Facebook for quite some time now. But we completely forgot to inform all you Mister Pops blog readers. FAANadix was a blast and Brandon was able to visit his old school, being that it was held at Evergreen High School. FAANadix was held in honor of Brian Hom's son, BJ Hom who sadly had died of peanut allergy issues. The whole purpose of FAANadix was to provide a place for people to get together and have a fun day, show off cars, and eat good food; while at the same time raising money for a cure to food allergies.
Along with hanging with good friends and meeting many more. We got a chance to get some pictures of the beautiful cars that were being presented there. There were prizes for every category under the sun. From all the different car brands, to classics and bikes.
We have plenty of photo coverage of the event, but we also managed to record a video. We will hopefully have that up for you within the next few days!

Wheels N Meals 7
Wheels N Meals 7 was a success and our first time having a booth there. We had fun meeting new people, and hanging out with some good friends in the Mercury News parking lot. Food trucks served food all day, and people brought their cars in and out throughout the day.
We managed to get some coverage of the cars and action that happened throughout the day for our Wheels N Meals Facebook album. It was nice being able to check out cars of today's modern styles as well as some beautiful vintage styles.

The Night Market Opening 2012
Today was the opening day of the San Jose Night Market across from the Berryessa Flea Market. Being our first event to host a booth, we were both eager and slightly nervous. Throughout the day we managed to snap some photos of the fun happening around us. The turnout was amazing and thousands of people filled the lot!
We met so many new awesome people throughout the day and night. Probably the best part of this event was just meeting people and being able to get to know them more. There's nothing more interesting than getting to know new people and hear their story.

Blox Open House Event 2012
We attended the Blox Open House Event today and snapped some pictures of the cars people had brought to show off. We got a chance to check out the booths, good music, and of course souped up cars. We have all the pictures on our facebook page. As well as a few to check out here on our blog.

FAANadix Car/Motorcycle Show Fundraiser
We will be hosting a booth at the FAANadix Car and Motorcycle show on July 28th. The show is being hosted by the "The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network" (FAAN). It will be a fundraiser in memory of BJ Hom, who died of an allergic reaction to peanuts at the age of 18. All money raised during this event, will go to help the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network to raise awareness about food allergies and to find a cure.
The all information can be found on the Facebook event page. If you want to register a car or motorcycle, you can find it at the FAAN event page. A car is $15 to register and a motorcycle is $5.
We are excited to set up a booth, see awesome cars and motorcycles, and most of all meet and hang out with awesome people! We will have the booth the whole time of the show from 12pm-5pm. Feel free to stop by and say hi to us! As well as enjoy the awesome cars, food trucks, performances, and DJ's.

Aristocrats & Headliners: Henny Party
Aristocrats and Headliners will be celebrating a brand new t-shirt collaboration, along with the 1 year anniversary of Headliners at the Aristocrats Store in San Jose's Japantown on June 29. 2012. All ages are invited but you must be 21+ to drink, and the event will be going from 6pm - 10pm.

BT With His Daughter (EDC)
