So I began my horror movie fest in October and I have 2 to go to reach my 31 goal. It’s been a long Journey because I was so busy in October I couldn’t get all of them in. So Horror December! Almost over than I can get back to other movies in my back catalogue and shows I need to catch up on. Last Blair Witch is going on right now. Will finish with The Falcuty and Fleash and Blood. I LOVE HORROR! What are some of your favorites?

Walking Dead Pet Peeves

I’ve watched since season 1 and I have a few pet peeves about this -used to be great- show.

-Maggie ALWAYS wears a damn scowl

- Character deaths aren’t a surprise after season 4

-Its the same story over and over. Group gets to a “safe” place, another group comes and challenges them, they win. Rinse and repeat

-The foreshadowing falls in on itself

-Ricks “Caaarl”

-Lots of drawn out dialogue

-Way too many characters

-Only follows huge comic plot points, the rest never happens in Robert kirkmens books

-Rick leaving

- It’s too dark. Not the content, but the way it’s filmed.

-Winter is never shown

-Timeline jumps

-Gore used to be fantastic, now it’s been reduced

-Most walkers around the current 4 settlements would be wiped out by now. Where the hell do they keep coming from?

-The whisperers, not sure about them yet

-Main group has trust issues, trusts strangers anyway

-If everyone is infected with said z virus, why does death facilitate it?

And lastly,

-HOW DID THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAPPEN. FFS BEFORE THIS SHOW ENDS WE BETTER GET AN ANSWER

That’s it. All in good fun I love this show even though it has many flaws and is formulaic at this point. But hey, it’s a fantastic zombie ride overall. I’ll do what I like about the show in another post and my negan/rick relationship. Cheers.
