How wild would it be that Elias has been dead the whole apocalypse and Jon hasn’t known because the Eye already knows so it doesn’t share it. So like when they get to the panopticon it’s just like Elias’ corpse and the knowledge that all their journey has been for naught hits them, especially Martin. Like they can’t even get the barest amount of revenge against the man who did the world so dirty because he’s already dead.
