               Yohan opens his mouth to say something,   but his brain freezes over when he tries to think of another way to put it.   Something closer to what he feels,   and no sound comes out.   He closes it around a smile,   feeling a tickle of embarrassment.   He discovers,   time and time again,   that it’s hard to think around Misty.   Words don’t roll off smoothly,   instead he speaks them shyly.   “No,   it’s nice,”    he says,   “you look–    I mean,    it’s nice.    You look nice.” 

               With the tips of his ears turning red,   Yohan is more than thankful to find a distraction in books.   “I haven’t read this one either,   but I’m familiar with some of his other works,”    his voice has a significant amount of more confidence now,   “if you do borrow it,   let me know how it is?   I think it’s been two years since I’ve read anything from him,   I’ve been meaning to pick something up again.” 

misty blinks a few times before breaking into a sheepish smile. receiving a compliment from someone as sweet and genuine as yohan, getting a little flustered was inevitable. misty smiles, one hand moving to comb through her locks. “we should hang out more, then?” misty offers, “get you used to seeing me walking around.” she then flips through the book, before turning it around so she can peruse the synopsis. “of course,” misty looks up at yohan, “i’ll let you know." she glances down at the book yohan was holding, head cocking to the side curiously. “were you here to borrow a book, too?”

               ‘ what am i supposed to do with the knowledge that we could’ve made a las vegas inspired party floor ? ’ jinny inquired , a small pout forming on her lips as she appeared to be in deep thought. ‘ paris certainly is dreamy , but jisty is 20 in human years meaning she should be able to enjoy her youth , y’know ? so what do you say… another floor with casino vibes & miniature elvis dolls ? ’

how can misty disagree with that? jinny had a point. jisty rolls around her hello kitty themed floor as the rusty cogs in her owner’s brain struggle to work. “where can we get elvis dolls?” misty was ready to whip her phone out and look through amazon, but she assumes they’d be expensive... like, a collector’s item type of expensive. “should we make them from scratch?”
