Ok so...

Hi

Yes, I still live. 

I know, I’ve vanished before. 

Never have I been gone for more than a month, though. 

So… life and college have a way of sucking up all of your free time and attention. Between final classes, work, and family issues and me trying to figure out where am I going in life now that I’ve finished college, it’s been nearly impossible to get this blog up and running again. The honest truth is that I probably could have written something (a lot, really), but didn’t feel like anything I would have written would have been up to par with previous stuff. I’ve been away from the series for too long to continue writing in-character as well as before, and lately I’ve been distracted and stressed too. 

I did try. I tried to give Tatsuya his own blog, I tried to finish old drafts, I tried getting into new rps… but in the end, I just feel apathetic and un-motivated, and end up not writting anything at all. I feel really bad about those who have been patiently waiting all this time, and I’m really really sorry. I’m specially sorry with the ones who were just starting threads with me. You guys have been very nice about the whole thing. Some have also been very supporting, and to those people: thank you from the bottom of my heart ;-;

Anyways… I’m putting this blog on hiatus. 

Is it a long hiatus? The short answer is “I don’t know”. The longer answer is that when I feel I can continue, I will. Thus there is no set timetable. I won’t put a strict deadline, I have many of those in my life already. But maybe in a couple months, when I learn to handle the whole ‘being an adult’ thing better.

You’ve all been amazing and I loved this last year of rping with you, and I really wanna come back and be an active part of this again. I will, but for now it’s good bye for me. Please forgive me for dropping everything like this, but I need time to sort out my life.

Ok so...

Hi

Yes, I still live.

"Ms. Kaname, can I call you mom? I mean my mom and dad are well." Negi hesitated before sadly looking down. "Gone. I understand if you say no. Or if this is uncomfortable, or strange." he sighed.

"Negi… t-that’s…" Certainly unexpected. But also very touching, and it tugged hard at Junko’s most motherly side.

She tought about it a little. About her own children, and husband, and how would they react to this. Probably they wouldn’t mind, considering how they were. Biggest sweethearts in the world. Junko also considered how she herself would feel about such a thing.  

"It… it is a little strange, I guess. But that’s not a bad thing. Not unconfortable. I… I would feel honored if you really feel that way about me…" She gave a small nod. "If you really want to, I don’t mind."

Then she smiled. “Keep in mind the title is probably gonna make me act more motherly around you.”

Anubis had spent the better part of the hour meditating. It was important to do this to keep his Aura under control. Aura was something which had to be maintained at all times lest it becomes dangerous. The Lucario made extra sure nowadays since he had a family. To keep his family safe was one of many priorities the Pokémon had.

But meditating also seemed to increase Anubis’ aura power and he sensed Tatsuya coming home before he heard him. He even counted until the door opened just to have a bit of fun.

“No, I was just finishing up. School also finished, I see. Do you have any plans for this winter break?”

It still intrigued Tatsuya, the way the Lucario meditates, and his behaviour, so quiet and noble in general. Anubis had explained him what the Aura was, and several other things about himself and the world he came from many times before; but it never stopped being amazing.

"Wha- plans?" He blinked at the question, snapping out of his thoughts. "Mmmn... I don't think I have anything especific in mind, really. I like to improvise! To wing it!" He smiled widely. "That's what's fun about vacations, they're full of posibilities! You never know what is out there for you, the things you can do, the friends you can make!" 

"Maybe you can help me think of something, eh Any? I'll be around more now, so we can hang together more, too!"

Late Night Drinks @blindedjustice

Katsu gave a happy bark before following the woman into the kitchen, curious about what she had in her hands. Sayaka closed the door after her and followed as well, examining the bottles Junko had brought in.

Nodding, she opened the cupboard and pulled out two glasses and filled them with a bit of ice as Junko requested. Setting them down on the table, Sayaka listened as the woman described what the drinks were. She had almost no experience with this stuff, so she really didn’t care which she was going to try first. With a shrug, Sayaka pointed at the artesanal beer. 

"I guess that one first…" Boy this felt weird. Drinking with Junko. She wondered if she would get ‘tipsy’ or not at the end of all this.

"Goin' for the soft one to begin with, mmh? Good choice." She makes appear a small multi-opener from her pocket, and easily serves the two glasses with the golden, foamy beverage and pushes one towards Sayaka. "Soo... first time drinking?" She asks casually, grabbing her own glass. "I won't judge if it isn't, y'know? I started underage, myself." No, she was not even looking a little ashamed of it. "And it was also beer! Only, y'know... the cheap kind, not this beauty over here. Though you seem more level headed than me back then..."

Sobering up, Junko made eye contact, a new gentleness sweeping in her voice together with her cheerfulness. "But such stories are for later! We are here to celebrate." She raised her glass towards Sayaka. "For your twenties, Sayaka. May they be happy, and all that jazz you're supossed to say at toasts." She clicked the other's glass againts her own, and took a sip. It was nice, like regular beer, but smoother and had a very subtle fruity flavor. "Your life is just beggining. I know you've got through a lot already, more than you should, but you're here now, and your future awaits, and I can see it's bright. So try to enjoy it, ok?"

"I found your notebook. You’re a really good artist, you know?" (to canon Tatsuya)

"My not’book!! tank’you nee-cha!"

The moment Tatsuya had released her hand, Sayaka had made to run after him, but seeing as how the child immediately zoned in on the same man she had pointed out, she slowed down to a walk, carrying the forgotten notebook along the way. 

Sayaka watched as the man embraced his son and spun both him and the little boy around. The display was enough to cause her to smile wider than she last remembered doing. To see a parent reunite with their beloved child… something that would understandably instill relief in hearts nearly everywhere… that was truly something to witness.

It was moments like this that Sayaka felt justified for having chosen to commit herself to doing good.

As soon as the man spoke to her, she nodded, almost timidly. “Ah, yeah. He’s a good kid. You did a wonderful job raising him.” She scratched her cheek. “And you’re welcome, sir. It was no trouble at all. I only wanted Tatsuya to come home safe and sound to his family.” She looked down and remembered the notebook. She held it out. “Oh, here.”

"Yay not’book!!" The boy cried out happily, almost trowing himself at her to grab it. Luckily his father had a strong hold on the boy, and he just got close enough to get a hold on it without bumping heads with Sayaka or anything. "Tank’ you, Sayaka nee-cha!" He chirped as cutely as just a toodler starting to talk could, hugging the notebook close.

Tomohisa chuckled, giving Sayaka a soft, warm smile. It was very... fatherly. He always gave that feeling, when he's around younger people. He probably didn't even realized himself. "Thank you. Thank you very much. People like you are rare to come by, with such a sense of goodwill." He paused for a moment to shift the weigth of the child in his arms, and just gaze at the happy babbling baby boy that he had brought to this world, looking at his own drawings and entirely oblivious to the danger he'd just been in. Then he went back at Sayaka, and now he looked truly apreciative and grateful, once the relieved feeling and initial curiosity wore off a little.

"And my family is in debt with you. I don't know what we'd do if Tatsuya really went missing... we'd be beyond devastated. I don't really know what I would do if I had really lost our little boy out there..." Just the thought of it made him sick and terrified. He gulped and his hand messed with his son's hair a little bit, just to reasure himself that Tatsuya was indeed there and nothing bad had happened after all. "I don't think we could ever repay you enough, but if there's anything we can ever do for you... you're always welcome in our home."

if anyone is wondering were I went 

I just got this huge bout of Tomohisa inspiration, which is just amazin bc his muse's been so dead for me for like, forever

which is sad because I really like him and I actually tried really hard to develop him all this past year even if it probalby doesn't show that much so

now I can finally write him again and finish those two big threads that have been on a hiatus for almost months now! (there's only frekin' 2 threads with him and I couldn't even write them wtf is with that?? what is even writer block) 

but yeah I thought I should share this bc I'm actually excited about it ha

its 2:30ish in the morning but apparently insomia is good for my writting so yay insomia?

What would you do if one of you children arrived home hurt???

"Heal them. Treat the wounds, take care of them. First things first, right? Our kid is hurt, what else is there to do but to make sure they’re alrigth? If the physical damage is too bad, we should focus on it only, and once that’s taken care of, see if they are emotionally or phsicologically affected by the whole thing. Their health, their well being and safety, that’s the priority.”

"But once we make sure they’re ok, or at least that they’ll be, and we’ve done everything we can  about that… we should focus on finding out what happened. Something, or someone out there hurt our child, and must be dealt with acordingly. If it was accident or mistake, it’s ok, we’ll just teach them to be careful. If it’s not… if someone purpously tried to harm them… well, I’m gonna be very pissed off at that someone or something. Best case escenario, they get rigthful punishment. I would do what I can to make sure it doesn’t happen again, at the very least."

Tatsuya gets a lot of his spunky, loud personality from his mother, but is quieter about it because of his father's influence during his childhood. First language: Spanish!
