Taking selfies with your best friend like
DONT TOUCH ME I AM NOT OK WITH THIS
"You said a person bit you? Out of the blue??"
Jayme nodded feverently, “It was so scary! They were so fast! I mean, I’m fast, but they were like… And I just…” Jayme hyperventilated, her breaths strained and shallow. She swallowed, “I don’t know what going on… What’s happening?”
Jayme wrapped her small arms around Amelia, her body shaking from still being in shock. It was terrifying. The man had just appeared out of the shadows…like a ghost. Jayme had never felt so defenseless before, or so weak.
"I’m sorry…" she whimpered, "This is all my fault." What else could it be but her fault. She was made to fight. All she seemed to be was pure power, but yet she was taken by surprise. She ran a hand over her bleeding shoulder which was already starting to heal, and cried harder.
Amelia couldn’t help but hum a eerie, yet calming hymn as she stroked Jayme’s hair in a motherly way. ”Ssh, Jayme. It’s quite alright. This has happened to me once before when I first started hunting on my own after my sire abandoned me. So, sshh. It’s okay.” She emphasized ‘it’s okay’ my embracing her securely within her arms lovingly.
Jayme looked up at Amelia, her eyes red and her lip trembling, her small hands not letting go of the fabric of Amelia's shirt, "Why would they do that? What's the point? I don't... I don't understand..." She buried her head back down in Amelia's shirt, "I was so scared."
"We have scouts. They look for activity, and report. It’s rare they do combat, so they have rudimentary training. Which is most probably enough to take down one before getting killed." Natasha leant forwards to take the radio, turning it over in her hands and studying it. "SHIELD Protocol 4371?" She looked to Jayme with raised brows as she repeated the message that had been heard through her own communicator. 4371 was a simple all-kill, mission. They didn’t need information from the demons, so they didn’t need the demons alive.
Jayme shrugged at the name of the protocol, “I don’t know what it’s called, I just heard it on the radio and decided to move… Demons aren’t exactly my friends.”
Suddenly, a loud explosion emitted outside from about 5 or so blocks down, a second later, it appeared on the live footage on the TV. Jayme furrowed her brow and leaned forward, biting her lip slightly in worry. “What’s going on…?” she whispered.

When your friend is saying some stupid shit :
SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO STILL TRIES TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS AFTER DEPRESSION HIT THEM HARD. THERE ISN’T ENOUGH RECOGNITION FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THAT THEY’RE GOING TO LOSE INTEREST AND MOTIVATION AGAIN BUT PUSH THEMSELVES TO DO STUFF ANYWAYS. YOU ARE FIGHTING A DAILY BATTLE WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND YOU’RE STILL COMING OUT ON TOP, YOU’RE ALL BRAVE AS FUCK
"What do you mean, what happened? —
I think my face is pretty self explanatory”
Jayme’s eyes grew worried at the woman’s face, and pressed her lips together in worry, “Oh god GOD… Um… Well, do you want any help? I know a place where I can grab some bandages and antiseptics. It’ll help a little.” She smiled, “And then we could probably grab some ice for that eye huh?”
Meg couldn’t help but smile slightly at the women’s reaction, this caused her to wince and blood ooze out of the cut. She nodded, she shouldn’t really trust a complete stranger… But she hurt. “Yeah probably” she agreed, everytime she talked she wanted to cry. “Thank you”
The young girl held out and hand and slowly slid it into the other woman's. She could tell there was something... different about her. Possible dangerous. She could sense it. But she elected to ignore it. This woman needed help.
Jayme gently pulled her down the street to a bar with a large banner that read, "Bo's."
"Wait here, okay?" Jayme said, with a smile.
Opening the door, Jayme gave a loud holler, "HEY JOE!" before dissapearing inside. The only noises heard through the door were some yelling, a loud thud, followed by laughter. A second later, Jayme emerged with a small med kit, about the size of a human hand, and a clear bag of ice. Her hair was now slightly more ruffled than before and her eyes glinted of victory, but besides that, she was the same.
"Come on. Lets go find a bench and get you patched up."
Amelia merely peered down at the girl only to sigh heavily before enveloping the child within her cool embrace. Children will forever be her weakness. ”You’ll be find Jayme. It smells like new bloods and I assume he or she attacked you out of bloodlust. You will not turn because your blood will fight whatever the newblood had within their fangs. Don’t fret too much about his.” She cooed while informing the child the important information and stroking her hair simultaneously.
Jayme wrapped her small arms around Amelia, her body shaking from still being in shock. It was terrifying. The man had just appeared out of the shadows...like a ghost. Jayme had never felt so defenseless before, or so weak.
"I'm sorry..." she whimpered, "This is all my fault." What else could it be but her fault. She was made to fight. All she seemed to be was pure power, but yet she was taken by surprise. She ran a hand over her bleeding shoulder which was already starting to heal, and cried harder.
Natasha looked over at Jayme as she watched the TV, thinking over the girls words. She wasn’t used to that, to praise on her character. On her skills, yes, but not on her. She wasn’t quite sure if she liked it, it was much to personal.
Deciding that Jayme was contented with watching the TV, she began to busy herself with paperwork. She pulled out a field report, scribbling down notes and relevant information.
"How did you know the demons would be there?"
Jayme looked over to Miss Widow, her eyes slightly glazed from watching the TV, “Ummm… I dunno. It’s hard to explain. You know when you get angry? And it feels like you’re made of spikes, and there’s this weird pressure in your chest? It’s kinda sorta like that, but it moves with the Demons. Like a compass.”
"Although…." Jayme sighed, "I didn’t know they would be there at first. I’ve been low on batteries for days. I haven’t been able to sense them. The last time I heard something about them was on my radio."
She reached behind her and pulled her small radio out of her backpack and presented it to Miss Widow, “It said something about activating a shield, but last I checked there aren’t any shields you humans have made to contain demons…”
She tilted her head, “What about you? How’d you find them?”
