"Busy." She said, sitting with him. "Princess Celestial is working hard. I think it's hard, with Princess Luna being gone..." She said quietly, looking over at the rising moon. The distinctive pony shaped rocks within the moon, showing the ponies of Equestria the power of Celestia and the punishment for Luna. "I can't imagine what Nightmare Moon was like...but...i can see where she was coming from..." Emmy said softly, looking around. "The world is so beautiful at night...but we all choose to sleep. We don't think about how important the nighttime really is."

Her smile softened slightly as she looked at him.

Once she came back out, she was all cleaned up with flowers in her hair. "Alright! Hi there!" She said happily as she walked up to him still blushing. "You know, I'll have to repay you for showing me around with a tour of the castle of the two sisters someday!" She said smiling brightly.

Emmy was standing one hoof on a ladder, tongue sticking out as she tried to balance putting up some decorations in her shop. She didn’t seem to notice him come in, but was using her magic to hang up the flowers while holding some in her mouth.

Kai looked up at her in awe. For a self proclaimed klutz, she was balancing rather well. His eyebrows raised in surprise as he stood there. After a moment, he cleared his throat to get her attention.

She turned her head, flowers still in her mouth. "KAI!" She exclaimed, though muffled from the stems. She leaned back, legs waving in the air before she toppled to the ground. Then stood up quickly, flowers in her hair and paint on her skin and mane. "Hi! Are you ready?" She asked smiling brightly.

She blushed, never having been given a hat or such a beautiful gift before. Using her magic, she placed it on her head and smiled happily at how nicely it fit. “It’s beautiful!” She said happily, looking in the mirror. “Thank you.” Emmy said, nodding before leaving the shop and having left a rose on the counter for him when he wasn’t looking.

Kai took at look at the rose after Emmy left. He smiled and placed said rose in a jar before getting back to work. Business was the same usual fair, ponies coming in to take inventory on their requests and the young colts coming around to mock Kai for his passion in life.

Emmy only sold a few flowers, but met new ponies and even got a few compliments on her hat. The hat, which matched her green tone, she had decorated with purple Violet's and some in her hair.

“Uh yeah. Emerald Rose is the name!” She said standing up proudly. “I just moved here, and set up a flower shop. Though I’m kind of worried, is there any other flower shops in town here? I just don’t want to step on anyone’s toes.” She said nervously, blushing bright red as she looked at the earth pony.

Kai furrowed his brow as he thought about it. “I don’t think so,” the stallion answered, “There might some flower arrangers but none that grow any on their own without relying on farms.” He then smiled at her. “Though, I wouldn’t mind using some of my bits to get you to arrange them for my hats,” he mused with a chuckle.

"Hm?" She asked, turning back and looking at the hats that she'd put flowers on. "Wow...they do look nice." She said smiling, before blushing. "Well...you know, I'd do it for free for such a cute pony- I mean HARDWORKING pony such as yourself!" She said blushing and trying to backtrack. "Um anyway, I'm new, so maybe after you're shop closes you can show me around?" She asked sheepishly.

Walking down the steps, Emmy set down another flower pot on the edge of her walkway. “Whew! Last one…” She said smiling, hen bit her lip. “Hmm if there is already a shop here what am I going to do…” She asked herself before standing up straighter. “Guess i can go see!” She said happily, using a hoof to adjust her hair before setting out into the quickly bustling town of Ponyville.

Within the small, yet busy, town sat a small shop unlike any other. It was a haberdashery run by a young male with a messy red mane. He was busy setting up for the morning, nuzzling the sign to the open position with his nose. It flipped around, allowing people to show up for business.

Emmy looked around and tilted her head when she saw the hat shop. “Wow! The only hat shop I’ve ever seen was in the capital city!” She said excitedly, pushing the door open with her hoof. “Hi there! Wow a real habber-” she began before tripping and rolling right into the counter. “Ouch….” She said, trying to get up.

Kai, who was still behind the counter, put his first two on top to look over the edge down at the pony who came tumbling in. “Are you alright, ma'am?” He asked, coming around the other side to help her up. With a push of his simple, blue body, he helped her up off the ground

She rolled the other way, looking up at him. Blushing bright red, she jumped up quickly dusting herself off. "Yeah! Sorry about that! I'm not uh...very good on my feet sometimes!" She giggled, stepping back into a hat stand that toppled over. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" She said quickly, using her magic to stand it back up, accidentally putting some flowers on the hat because she didn't know they didn't go there. "Wow I'm just kind of making a. Ed aren't I." She chuckled, rubbing the back of her head.
