What have we been up to you ask? Why haven't we updated? To be honest, we just have lost motivation for a lot of the time, but don't worry, it will continue, and soon. BUT IN THE MEAN TIME WE PRESENT:
Tumblrpon: The Big Crossover!
In this we will be using a diagram to connect EVERY BLOG WE CAN to one GIGANTIC image! While this isn't exactly as interactive as our main project, this side project will keep things rolling while the actual project is on delay! (Btw, can't see it? Zoom in or open the image in a new tab).

As of now you can see a small preview that has been worked on for a tiny bit. Please note THIS IS NO-WHERE NEAR FINISHED: Many blogs here have not got all lines connected, such as Pun Pony, Pirate Dash and Discord Whooves; collab blogs such as The Coop and Docs in a Box will be included as shown; and the structure/layout will change as more are added in.
We have also set out guidelines for this side-project. First off, not EVERY appearance of characters in the same blog count, otherwise there would be too many lines. This limits characters like Pun Pony, who would be ALL over the place otherwise. We only count cameos that are logically possible, rather than follower pictures, "appear-out-of-no-where-for-post" post with cameo, or anything of that nature.
For example, Pirate Dash meeting Carrot Top is very easy to see happening, but it is not canon to the "Carrot Top's Garden" blog so it is only a green line.
However, Pirate Dash meeting Sketchbook Twilight is only shown through Pirate Dash's sent ask, and is labelled for being a single post where they appear out of no-where with no regards in terms of canon or how they got in the same universe. This would not count as a link.
To determine whether some posts are canon to some blogs,we also check to see if they reblogged the supposed crossover post, and if they didn't, it's not a blue line connection by our standards.
Please Note:
We aren't saying it's bad to have those types of posts on your blog, we are just saying it does not count as a link crossover-wise.
And the purpose of this you ask? Three reasons.
For fun. Because, why not, you know?
To tide you all over until the next BIG PICTURE update.
In theory, this allows us to make bridges between each blog, connecting to one big universe for some, and multi-verses for others. All those connected to a web of blue lines can be considered all canon, and therefore, all in the same universe for the most part. In other words, these characters can theoretically meet without any continuity or new-found-information being altered nor created to suit the purpose of the blogger. For instance, using this we can connect Twilight the Time Traveller and Rain Catcher saying they are currently in the same universe. We can do this by using Perry Doctor, then Zerum, leading to Discord Whooves, moving to Motherly Scootaloo and finally Rain Catcher himself.
We hope you enjoy this side-project as much as we like making it!
Final note: Do not take this TOO seriously in terms of all the theory work. As we said before, it's all just for fun in the end.
