Long time no art, huh. Life has been rough and I'm trying to rekindle my love of art and drawing again (despite unfortunate life circumstances).

So here's my first batch of attacks.

This weekend, the dnd campaign Dreadful Descent had it's finale! It was a wonderful game , so much so that it feels bittersweet to reach the end of it. Morgan the Crow got a lovely happy ending.

For Morgan fans, don't worry, I'm not going to stop drawing him haha. I even have a post-game illustration series I'm figuring out. I would also love to make a zine compiling all of his art and explaining the context of it.

But before that, I wanted to celebrate a bit! I put together some of my favorite illustrations, starting with this poster I designed as a love letter the game!

A huge and heart filled thank you to my friends and fellows during this campaign, your guy's creativity and companionship made this a very joy filled two years. I can't wait go on more adventures with you.

(For context, I often post Morgan doodle dumps on my patreon since, well, there's a lot of Morgan doodles. This is a goofy modern au version of Morgan and @mmothmanners character Dorian)

I chose purple because Dorian has purplish hair and that the part of the joke. Morgan giving him a purple labubu because they match.

I guess I could make it the Morgan Dnd color but tbh I consider Morgan like dark blue themed. Maybe dark purple lol.

The gang finally found the portrait/key to Dorian Malgrave's immortality aspect as Darklord in Decardia. The truth of the man's malevolence and self are known to the party.

And I cannot wait for his unhinged grande finale.

I didn't think it was an elephant in the room! I thought it was pretty obvious that he inspired Walmare initially! The rest came from other things but a lot of Tezuka's art / Duke Red and Dice King for vibes / this inspo sheet I posted on bluesky.

moment from the decardia game that i've been trying to sketch forever. still not happy with it but!! good enough. lord dorian revealed himself as the bbeg to my character reedus during a vulnerable moment, removing his curse on a whim just because he could and in a way cursing him all over again (the original curser won't be happy about this) they had had an........ encounter....... before this so it was a PRETTY CHARGED SCENE yeah dorian belongs to the lovely @mmothmanners the lyrics are from mother mother's 'love to death' which is a very reedus song
