just a heads up because this kinda freaked me out for a bit âŒïžâŒïž
someone messaged me from an account that looked really similar to someone I follow here and said they reported my account by accident and needed my help to fix it.
then they showed me this âtumblr emailâ saying my account could get permanently banned (even mentioning IP stuff??) and told me to contact âsupportâ on discord which⊠yeah no thatâs when it started feeling really off.
apparently this is a scam going around where they try to scare you into thinking your account is about to get deleted and then push you to talk to someone off tumblr or send money or info
just to be clear this was NOT the actual person they looked like, so pls donât go after anyone.
anyway just be careful if you get messages like that, especially if theyâre rushing you or telling you to contact support somewhere else.
it felt real for a second so just putting it out there in case it helps someone else.
