I saw someone on twt saying that bts need to do a q&a on twt so they could see who and where the REAL fanbase is and not the WERIDOS on insta/tiktok. And i got so angry ARE YOU FOR REAL????? im so frustrated with fandom behaviour these days and i really dont like being associated with any of it. I dont know how the tannies stay sane and honestly im so so sad for them

yeah that’s pure delusion and ego talking. every corner of fandom is detached from reality no matter which platform people use the most. no app is excused of exhibiting batshit behavior, ESPECIALLY not twitter lol. not even tumblr is free of weirdos despite being used the least by armys. and it’s also not fair or productive to categorize certain corners of the internet as “where the real fans are” based on where you post the most. some apps are more tolerable than others, but not rid of the problematic culture completely.

why is armytwt so invested in timelines and locations why do they need to know exactly what day and city and country certain content was shot why do they need to know the addresses of the houses they slept in or the studios they filmed in why do they need to analyze the background of every piece of media to determine where bts breathed air why do they need to know what restaurants they go to and what they ordered why do they need to know such irrelevant details behind every single move bts ever makes i know curiosity is common around here but with the level of stalking going on this past year i'm just starting to find it all so excessive and unnecessary and scary and inhumane and i'm going a little crazy bc i genuinely don't think half of this shit is interesting bc i'm normal and love privacy as much as they probably Wish they could experience on a daily basis and i know some people probably don't think it's that deep but i really think it is atp in their careers bc every day there's a new story of some weirdo doing scary shit and i don't think any of this kind behavior helps tbh idk i'm just tired and i wish content could just be consumed on a more surface level without fandom detectives digging up information nobody actually needs
