“Yes, yes. Just as you asked.”
Though technically supposed to only be a bus boy for Narumi as part of his faux-apprenticeship, at the very least the elder carried a bit of tact in the chores, despite his chronic laziness. Doing the job that was supposed to be part of Tae’s own, however, was a bit more of a nuisance to Raidou, even if she was a friend to him and the agency. Mostly.
Reaching into his pocket, he soon enough extended with a few roles of film, though not before pulling back at the last minute. “… I trust these will do nothing to tarnish business, or my clan?” Even if he was young, he spoke like someone thirty years his elder. Perhaps he had relied on the Yakuza too much.
“Brilliant. You are such a responsible young man, unlike another man I could mention.” A single pretty pause and then she continues. “I knew I could count on you.” What more could a big sister ask for?
She holds out her hand expectantly and is about to take the film when the boy pulls back and Tae let’s out a huff. “Yes. Yes. As I said this is just a simple rumor that I was asked to look into.” She’s quick to snatch the concealed roll of film from the boys hand her smile a bit too big for her own good.
“Now, Raidou-kun to thank you for your help I’m going to teach you how to develop this. Just think! If your apprenticeship doesn’t work out with Narumi you can come work with me at the Newspaper.” He could be her own professional secretary!
She shines at the idea.
