We wanted to speak out about current events and the injustice which has sparked them. Our mod team supports the rights and freedoms of BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of Color) and would never condone the actions of police brutality. We want to send our support to the victims as well as the change-makers in the world.
Our support is more than this message. We do not, and will not, tolerate any bigotry in our events and believe that these should remain safe havens for all who need them. We wish to be a friendly, welcoming place for all who wish to join us. Many of us joined fandom for fun and community.
We realize we can all work to make all of our communities better places. We urge you read up on the current situations, history, and the many ways you can make a difference--we’ve been doing the same.
