noah lets out a pretty hefty laugh, looking to the brunette before putting the pup down to properly greet her. “yeah, not a human but definitely a time commitment for sure.” he snickers, watching as moira settles on the floor with ease to love on the dog. he had been really wanting a pet ever since his family found out his sister natalie was allergic. the craving for a furry companion never left him and it definitely stuck around when he got to chicago. “i guess you could say that. you had just inspired me to make something that i wanted to happen so - dog.” a hand raises to point to the puppy who was starting nip at her clothes. he reaches down to easily sink to the floor and pull the rascal from her, knowing moira probably didn’t want her clothes eaten. “girl. i hadn’t settled on a name, but i think i’m rolling with pippa? it just seemed to work pretty well.”

      * ! “you do realize how vague you were being, right? i would have made a full u-turn if i walked in to see a human child here.” moira realizes how ridiculous it sounds. the idea of noah hiding a child. it wasn’t entirely impossible but she may have overreacted just a bit. both hands find the puppy as she sits on the floor, laughing when the puppy climbs in her lap enthusiastically. a puppy’s energy was unmatched but so was the joy that they brought with them. her attention returns to noah, her head tilting to the side. “i inspired you? that’s crazy, noah. don’t listen to anything i say,” she jokes. moira was flattered that she had inspired him to get the puppy and even a bit shocked that he had paid that much attention to her. she assumed most people just brushed her words off. she ALMOST doesn’t realize her clothes being tugged on and surprisingly, it doesn’t bother her that much when she notices. a part of her is grateful for noah to take the puppy back, though - even if it’s just for a minute. “pippa! that’s so cute. like pippa middleton...she’s already royalty.”

she’s rather amused at her friend’s response and snickers along as she looks to her phone rather quickly, only to follow her when she gets up. she pockets the device before looking at moira and tilts her head. “ok ok, so i won’t poke fun at you anymore. despite the googly eyes you guys give each other like every ten seconds.” she smiles before looking to the other brunette with some sincerity. “so… do you think you’re developing some? or… are you pushing that consideration away?”

       * !  even though moira was trying her best to seem annoyed, she can’t help the ridiculous grin that pops up when saf mentions noah. she really hadn’t realized she was doing it until her cheeks started to cramp. “i mean, he’s cute! why wouldn’t i give him googly eyes? i could give YOU googly eyes if i wanted. it’s a talent of mine.” well, that was half-true. moira could definitely turn on her charm if she needed - with noah, it just came naturally. “i guess that’s what these are. i can’t tell if it’s lust, infatuation or a genuine THING. i’ve crossed lust off given that i haven’t slept with him yet. it could just be infatuation.” moira knew that it wasn’t but she was still trying to convince herself otherwise. “how do you know if you’ve developed some? give me a fast checklist.”
