safiya’s ecstatic to be back to the hotel. she had done so much over the holidays, from officially selling her house in the suburbs, visiting her mom and step-dad, and helping her grandfather move out of his house, she’s finally ready for the revamp that a new year holds. she’d resolved to work less, live a little more, make new friends and generally find herself again. she’d lost a lot of her younger self when she started her own business. now, she’s ready to get back on the horse again. strutting into the malnati, she gives a bright smile to the familiar face she sees in the lobby. “hi!! oh my gosh how are you? it feels like it’s been forever!”
