It was just like any other day, but this one was a bit off. You had just came back from getting a couple of stuff to eat later on in the day. What you hadn't expected was to see White Lily sitting silently on a bench near your house. You took a couple steps closer to her until she noticed you were there. "oh! my dear, I have been waiting for you!" She said happily. Her blank stare quickly replaced with a soft smile as she stood up to walk to you. You had asked her why she was here waiting for you this morning as she walked closer to give you a gentle hug.
"I had some...terrible thoughts recently, and I was hoping I could spend some time with you to rid those thoughts." She had said as she held your hands. Thinking for a moment you had agreed and you two decided to walk around the small town. Looking at the stores and picking up trinkets, you couldn't help that sometimes White Lily's gaze would linger just a bit to long on you. She would hold onto you just a bit too tightly. You had figured that whatever thoughts that she was having was still bothering her, so you had offered her this time to go to a quiet garden when the sun started to set for the day.
Once you reach a peaceful area you two had sit among the flowers. However, you had a strange feeling in you that you couldn't tell why you had. "I have been thinking recently..." White Lily had started looking down at her lap. "I had realized that...you aren't like my friends." You chuckled a bit jokingly saying that you weren't as powerful like her and the other ancients, of course you weren't like her other friends. You laughed a bit at your remark, but she quickly went serious again.
"The thing is when time goes by all things must come to an end. However I will still be here...without you." She said finally looking up at you. Her statement had caught you of guard and you didn't know what to say. She spoke up before you could. "I don't want to live in a world without you, so I'm making you an offer." She grabbed your hands and tenderly rubbed her thumb across your palm. "I can share just a smidge of my soul jam just for you. Not enough to drain me, but just enough so that you can live just as long as me."
You flinched as she looks at you with pleading eyes. Your lips shook as you couldn't find the words to say. Was she being serious? "My dear, what's wrong?" She questioned tilting her head to the side a bit. You can feel her hold on your hands tighten and you quickly yanked your hands away from her and stood up. She gave you a heart breaking look as you scooted away from her. You started telling her that you have already enjoyed your life span, you didn't mean to hurt her feelings but someone like you being immortal doesn't sit right.
She lowered her head as she stood up. You couldn't quite see her face expression, but you were hoping you didn't upset her. To your surprise she gave you a closed eye smiled before speaking. "I understand." She said coming up to you and wrapping her hands around your waist and leaned her head on your shoulder. You sighed out in relief, glad that she understood, as you slowly wrapped your arms around her, returning the hug. "I understand that you are confused, you don't know what you want, but I can help my dear." You felt her grip on you tighten as you yelped in panic. You saw her soul jam start to glow and you knew exactly what she was trying to do.
You squirmed begging her to let you go, to rethink just what she was about to do. She only shushed you as her grip on you only got harder. If she were to squeeze any harder you were sure your body would crack. You felt a warmth rush trough your body as you wiggled and cried. After a couple of moments later, you had a new feeling of refreshes in you, but also a sense of dread as White Lily continued to nuzzle against you.
You couldn't believe what had just happened, were you truly immortal now? Everyone close to you, you now had to watch every single one of them leave as you stayed behind in this world. Your legs gave out under you as you sat on the ground, White Lily coming with you.
"Shhh...oh my love, please don't cry. You know I'll always be here for you."
"Forever."
