Another day, another lap dance for Pooh by Pavel.

I genuinely admire Pooh for the boundaries he has set with fans since day 1. He either calls fans mommy (literal, not sexually) or big sisters, he never wanted the whole parasocial "I am your boyfriend/husband" thing possibly because it makes him uncomfortable. Obviously a lot of fans still call him that anyway, you can never stop that truly, but I still admire that he addressed it from the start.

During fansigns he also refuses to call fans wife or girlfriend, obviously in a cute, playful way to not escalate a situation. Unfortunately even mommy fans can be parasocial but I think this is a great effort anyway and the majority of fans respect that boundary. I do hope that new fans who aren't used to that at least don't judge it too hard because there is a reason for this. I don't like catching strays for calling Pooh my son because obviously I am not being literal. He is a grown man. But how come fans get to call they favorite singers or actors their husband but when I don't want to make it romantic, I get weird looks. Not everyone wants to fuck people they admire, not everyone is sexually attracted to their favorite actor..I don't have to feel romantic or sexual attraction to Pooh or Pavel to love them for their work.
