Oct. 12 “Running Foxes” by Yetzenia Leiva Gouache and Ink on Paper About this fox: One Fox. Two Fox. I noticed that I illustrated a single fox as the subject of my drawings and I thought, why not two? Maybe tomorrow I’ll paint three?

#octfox — For the month of October, I’m making fox art. Mostly because foxes are my favorite animal. I’m very inspired by the creature and their representation in art and literature. I’ve been called the fox painter because I’ve made more then few works of art with a fox. This month, I want to challenge myself and make something everyday. E tudo conspira a favor deste filme: direção, personagens, atores, diálogos, locações, música. Um pai (Viggo Mortensen) vive uma utopia com os seis filhos. Eles vivem em estado de graça junto a natureza, mas isso não os tornam ignorantes. Os filhos aprendem sobre a natureza e também sobre história, matemática, física quântica, filosofia. E são cobrados por isso. “Ou você sai dessa sozinho, ou não sai”, afirma Ben Cash em determinado momento para o filho pré-adolescente Rellian. Porém, a realidade da vida “lá fora” é cruel. E partem no ‘Steve’ rumo a cidade distante para se despedirem e atenderem ao último desejo da falecida mãe. Num off road de novos aprendizados. A cena do jantar com os tios e primos é servido com risos e ironia. “A galinha foi morta com um machado ou facão?” pergunta a pequena sobrinha a uma tia atônita. Em outra cena podemos questionar: do que adianta a escola se não se tem a mínima vontade de aprender? Entre várias cenas lindas e inspiradas, é emocionante e bela a cena no qual os filhos prestam homenagem a mãe. Capitão Fantástico acaba por deixar uma leveza no ar. Filme inspirado!
