hi everyone! today i’m sharing a list of workout moves that can be done while reading, watching YouTube videos, Netflix, etc. this is a great way to save time! i’ve also included some moves that you can do while doing other everyday activities.
Arms:
hold arms straight out to the side for at least 1 minute
small arm circles
lift weights (lateral raises, shoulder press, bicep curls, tricep extensions, hammer curls)
tricep dips (use a chair without wheels, or just use the floor)
Legs:
chair pose
calf raises
warrior poses
lunges
bed/couch:
lying side leg raises
lying side clams
Abs:
suit-case sit ups on chair
standing side crunches (can also be done while sitting)
rib cage circle (belly dance) !!
seated leg raise
hula hoop (requires more space)
Russian twists
bed/couch:
superman yoga pose
Flexibility:
butterfly pose
straddle
pigeon pose
runner’s lunge
cobra
*bonus: try chair yoga!
Brushing teeth/blow-drying hair:
calf raises
squats
rib cage circle (belly dance) !!
Working at a desk:
chair pose
*bonus: using an exercise/stability ball as a chair can improve core strength and posture. It’s recommended that you switch between an exercise ball and desk chair every 20-30 minutes. Check out these 2 links for more information!: 1 and 2
