When I couldnât sleep last night I ended up drawing the bi characters from the Dead Rising series.
People canât entirely agree on wether Frank West, the main character from the first game, is bi or not. One of the writers said heâs supposed to be bi but he only ever show attraction to women in the games, so a lot of people consider it not canon. But others do think itâs canon so I suppose itâs up to the individual at this point. Not even the dudeiest of dudebros can deny that Frank likes crossdressing though based on some of the comments he makes if you put him in a dress.
Thereâs the twin showgirls Amber and Crystal who seem to almost think theyâre the same person. If you kill one the other will kill herself because she canât live wither her âother halfâ. Theyâre some of the primary antagonists from the second game and belong to the category of bosses who stayed sane during the zombie outbreak.
Then thereâs Dylan, a sex worker who was severely neglected by his parents and turned to sex as a replacement for love. When the outbreak happened he was having an existential crisis because he was starting to realize that sex wasnât fulfilling his true desire for love, so when zombies killed everyone he trapped survivors in his sex shop and killed anyone who tried to take them away. He gives Nick, the main character, a fighting chance because he has been lusting after him since before the outbreak, but during the fight he might start crying, admit that sex makes him feel nothing and beg for hugs. It goes without saying that he belongs to the category of bosses who are pretty out of it.
Fun fact: Either Capcom made a mistake or Nick from DR3 is a trans man. We find out that he is one of the orphans mentioned in the first game, but orphan number 12 is listed as a girl named Lisa. We know Nick changed his name because a character says âNick? Is that what they call you now?â Nothing official about it though, so it could just be a mistake.
